Greb fought a completely different calibre fighter than Armstrong, and didn't have a padded record. Unlike Armstrong, he really was the close to being considered the best across 3 divisions.


Greb beats Loughran and tunney (of whom we do have footage), and Armstrong loses to Zivic, but you feel comfortable making the comparison!?!?!?

Zivic was highly underrated. One of the toughest scrappers of his day. He was no easy fight for anyone when he wasn't taking a dive for more money.

Oh, I agree. And the the myth that he was some sort of Boxing Jon Jones who only won by cheating and fighting dirty is totally overblown. Look at the reports of the day, he was able to out-box very skilled opponents and held his mud when he needed to.

I am not disparaging Zivic. But he wasn't Roberto Duran, or even Ken Buchanan.

LOL, dude, I competed in Beast of the East and completed my dabbling in JuJitsu after achieving my purple belt. Never a world beater. Never someone who had any desire to enter a MMA cage.
