Funny you should say that. Reminds me of when I read this...

The History section used to be a safe haven from this kind of thing. But sadly people are being allowed to get away with too much infantile behavior even in this subforum now.

You said something foolish. I called you on it. You couldn't man up and support yourself intelligently. No one's fault you punked but yours.

Maybe you want a pair of knee pads for easter?

Well, I was leaning towards migrant farmworker.

Nice that you have time to come onto a Boxing forum and not talk Boxing...

Having ridiculous opinions like yours is fine. When you start throwing around insults(like your kneepads comment) then you are crossing the line for this subforum.

This isn't NSB. Or at least it didn't used to be.

i get it. everyone is supposed to have a safe space. nothing is funny anymore. boys can be girls girls can be boys. i am behind the times because i still listen to classic rock.

whatever. i try to have serious, fact-based discussion. very few people here want to do that. i'm not sure what i am supposed to say. if folks wanna get upset for being called out when they are wrong, why are they posting here?

Come at me on NSB sometime. We'll see who needs a safe space.

But the Boxing History section was always kept free of childishness. It should remain that way in my opinion.

No, I'm just trying to remain civil on this subforum.

It would be easy to respond to you in kind and rake you over the coals with personal attacks and insults. But that isn't the way things have been done in this section.

I like you, Extra Foam, but your grammar is atrocious. And you need to focus a little better at staying on topic.

Foreman and liston never fought any one as good as Wilder. If you don't know that, you've excused yourself from any meaningful conversation here.

Wilder has shown much greater propensity for pacing and self-control than Foreman or Liston ever had. He has also done a better job at staying on his feet.

The heighth and length advantage ARE meaningful as they are essentially to the success of his power shots. It's not *only 3 inches. This is Boxing fundamentals. It's really easy to see that Liston, aside from his glorious jab, and Forman (always) needed to bull opponents over to set them up for the KO shot. Wilder is horrendous to watch... until he finds the kill shot. Then he's a marksman. It's like comparing a melee knight to an archer. Wilder lacks an amazing amount of Boxing fundamentals, but he's a Hw. If we compare Ali to Pep, Whitaker, Loughran or Canto the same thing could be said. But we don't compare Olympic gymnasts to Football's Big Uglys, do we?
Thank you Rusty, finally a meaningful conversation. I do agree with what you said, but the same can be said for Wilder fury is no Ali. Ali is faster and probably has more power and can fight off the back foot just as he can going forward. It's been a blast talking to you and thank you for not resulting into complete idiotic comments like some kids on here that is something I can respect. I'll also still say liston and foreman can take wilder as liston could box especially with people coming to him. Also with wilder's length his knock out blow would come much sooner than either of the two, but technically speaking they are vastly superior and I wouldn't bet money on either fight. I do say this who ever knocked liston spark out in prime days? Nobody, but we won't talk right now Rusty. You can say Ali, but legit I mean.
