--- Hold on, Lar and the WBA champs all with DKing, and the first WBA champ he turned down that I know of was the Coetzee fight in SAfrica.

He was never a civil rights leader, but suddenly played the race card after Coetzee fought so many black fighters in S.Africa and the US. Turned down something like $6-8 mil, big money in the day, so Tate took that fight for a bargain price and did what tubby Lar couldn't do, take a beating and roar back for the KO.

You still missing in action. Holmes got to the point he could dictate to King, but no WBA...

My God son, you really need to do some research and learn some history.. I'll help you out and prove you are clearly and factually wrong.

For some reason, QueensburyRules doesn't like Larry Holmes.
          I don't like George W. Bush.
          We can't like everyone.

It is what it is. We've all been caught blindsided by our own biases. Me included. The day you think you know more than everyone else is the day you stop learning.

Yes, but we can all be objective and not be blinded to the truth when evidence is presented to us. People never seem to want to admit it when they're proven wrong, especially online.

                    Thumbs up!

Interesting thing though, when studies have been done in connection with political elections, people who are presented with unquestionable facts which they don’t believe in, become even more certain of their incorrect beliefs.

Perhaps some of my own beliefs are completely bananas. Sadly, I’m not aware of it.

It would have been easy but Don King didn't want it .
And apparently, Holmes wanted no part of Dokes.
