Round 1: Lewis boxes foreman and foreman is swarming into lennox. lennox is landing some shots and lennox quickly walks into a foreman haymaker and down he goes! the crowd is on their feet as they feel that foreman will end the fight early. lewis is up at 3, and foreman continues to go after lennox, but he survives the round: both men are up at the warning bell.
Round 2: lennox is keeping away from george and is throwing the right hand at him. george is looking for that spot to throw his big shots. lennox fight a smart fight and cleanly wins this round: foreman is resting and lennox is ready for more.
Round 3: foreman is a little more patient in trying to corner lennox, but lennox uses his good defense to block the big blows and counter with some shots to foreman's head, but foreman walks through those punches and lands some of his own. lennox get a sneaky right hand in that hurts foreman a little, and then another right hand drops foreman for the first time in this tournament! the crowd is on their feet as foreman is up at 2. foreman is trading bombs with lennox and they do this until the round ends: lewis and foreman are both tired and they listen intently to their trainers.
Round 4: Foreman is chasing lennox down, but lewis plays it safe. lennox uses his jab and his right hand to keep foreman away and to score points. foreman lands some shots, but lennox is looking better right now and wins this round: foreman is a little tired, but lennox is pretty good.
Round 5: Lennox now realyzing that foreman is out of it, attacks foreman with some fast, hard jabs and then his big right hand that drops foreman. foreman barely makes the count at 9, and then lewis continues as foreman tries to fight back, but he looks slow as lewis picks him apart and hits him with a one-two that lays foreman on the canvas. the crowd is excited as they feel lewis will win. but, foreman is up at the count of 8, and they continue. foreman seems to be holding on, but all of a sudden foreman unleashes a blockbuster of an uppercut and lewis goes down hard! the crowd is in stunned silence. lewis gets up at 6 and the round ends: saddler is encouraging foreman and foreman is building confidence.
Round 6: Foreman charges out and throws a right hand that misses. lewis circles foreman and throws jabs, but foreman pars them with his gloves. foreman somehow gets lewis on the ropes and unleashes a ton of body blows that drop him for the third time in this fight! lewis doesn't make it. foreman goes up 3-1 on lennox!
buffer: "The winner at 0:36 seconds of the sixth round by a knockout, geeorgee fooremaaan!"(the crowd does not show it's appreciation for foreman at all)

Round 2: holmes keeps moving and landing occasioanal combinations. liston keeps pressuring, but holmes is moving well. holmes lands some shots that is scoring heavily for the judges. holmes is pulling from liston's punches pretty well. liston is a bit worried. he keeps throwinh his left hook and jab, but holmes either blocks them or side steps from them. this is holmes' round: holmes is in good shape and is quickly ready for action. liston is concerned.
Round 3: Holmes is continuing to fight off the backfoot, and liston is cutting the ring off occasionally. holmes is doing everything right and keeping liston away: liston and holmes are still fresh, and ready for action.

And welcome to Madison Square Garden in New York City, for fight #4 between Mike Tyson and Joe frazier. tyson leads the series at 2-1, so frazier needs to bounce back. tyson came in at 218 1/2, and frazier was at 207. i had a chance to interview frazier.
butterfly1964: "Well, joe what's your answer for frazier tonight?"
frazier: "well, i'm well prepared this time, and when i'm on my a-game, watch out!"
butterfly1964: "Good luck, joe."
frazier: "Thank you very much!"
well, there you have it folks. looks like frazier is ready. and frazier is bouncing into the ring, wearing a white robe, and now tyson comes in and 110,000 fans go wild! tyson is wearing no robe and looks in great shape. here's the tale of the tape.

both men put the stare on each other.
Round 1: both men come out bobing and weaving. tyson lands some jabs, but frazier keeps coming. tyson is landing some good shots to the heqad, and frazier does some bodywork. frazier lands some good left hooks, and tyson keeps coming and both men get into a slugfest, with neither fighter doing more damage than the other as the round ends.
Round 2: tyson is landing some good shots, and frazier is still warming up. tyson begins to work the body in an attampt ot weaken frazier. frazier tries to stay away, but tyson is right on him. frazier still comes forward and gets under tyson's jab and lands an uppercut and a left hook. but this is still tyson's round.
Round 3: both men come out trading blows. tyson's blows are harder, but both men takes them. frazier is pounding the body, and so is tyson, but not as relentlessly as frazier. joe throws thunderous body shots, and the a left hook, that tyson takes. tyson a firing back, but frazier keeps on coming! tyson throws a fast combo that drops frazier! however, frazier is up at two, takes the mandatory 8-count, and is firing back. tyson is suprised and just tries to take frazier out early. frazie is relentless and doesn't take any crap from the intimidating tyson. the round ends: both frazier and tyson are up quickly and are ready for action.
Round 4: Tyson comes out like in the first round, and now it's a slugfest. they both hurt and stun each other, but after all that, frazier is stronger and he bulls his way into tyson's skull, via right hand. frazier continues his concentrated body attack and lands some hellacious right hands to tyson's jaw. tyson hits frazier back, by joe seems to e taking every punch that joe dishes out: yank is giving frazier instructions, and rooney tries to revive is fighter.
Round 5: both men comes out and frazier connects with a solid left hook to the jaw and then a right hand followed by another left hook that stunns tyson. tyson then tries to hold on, but frazier is strong in there. and still pounds the body during clinches. tyson then recovers and throws a fast three punch combo to the face that drops frazier. DOWN GOES FRAZIER! DOWN GOES FRAZIER! DOWN GOES FRAZIER! Frazier is up at 5, but tyson presses on and throws a textbook left hook that drops him again! frazier is up at 3, and tyson lands some bodyshots, and frazier is bobbing to try and avoid tyson's shots. the round ends: tyson is listening intently to rooney's instructions. yank is cursing at frazier saying, "Come on, ****sucker. take you head out your ass!"
Round 6: frazier comes out and throws a huge left hook that misses as tyson rolls out of the way. tyson uppercuts frazier and then hits him with a big right hand and down frazier goes again! frazier gets up and tries to tie tyson up, but tyson manages to free himself and lands two bodyshots and then another vicious uppercut that floores frazier again! frazier is slow in getting up and takes the standing 8-count. frazier goes after tyson againg trying to land one big bomb, but to no avail and a tyson fluury sends him down again. frazier is up at nine and is defenseless. tyson moves in to finish with two lefthooks to the body and a left hook to the chin, followed by an over hand right. frazier is down and gets up too late. the fight is over!

I just can't get over the fact that these guys are fighting each other over and over again. A traditional tournament would be a lot more fun and less repetitive. Maybe I'll do one eventually.
