Round 6: liston corner holmes, and holmes tries to tire liston out, but liston's precision punching does not work as it would against foreman, and holmes can't take it anymore. holmes is dropped by a vicious left hook to the liver! holmes gets up and tries to survive the round, but is defenseless and liston's right hand drops him again with a vengeance. holmes now is trying to stay away and lasts the round.

Round 7: Liston is still all over holmes, as larry just tries to survive. liston is landing some big shots and holmes looks out on his feet. liston continues to pummel holmes and holmes can't take it anymore and goes down. holmes is up at 4, and liston throws a vicious left hook that drops holmes again! holmes is up at nine, but he still is wobbly legged, and conn has no other choice but to end it. liston wins and moves on to fight rocky marciano!

buffer: "the winner, by a tko at 1:20 of the seventh round, sonnnyy liiistoooon!(the crowd is silent as they quickly file out of the stadium in disgust)

              • vs.

Welcome to The Houston Astrodome, where Muhammad Ali will take on George Foreman. Both of these fighters are kind of lucky because they won't have to travel far to get to their opponents home stadium, Sam Houston Colliseum is foreman's home stadium which is only a few miles away from the astrodome. since their both from houston, a great deal of the crowd will be routing for foreman as well as ali. ali is a 2 to 1 favorite. let's go to the press conference.

Ali: I'll knock you out quicker than i did in africa you slow-moving mummy! i'ma dance around you and you will be amazed by my grace george foreman!

                crowd: any predictions?

Ali: Only one. TIIIIMBEEEEEEEERRR!!!!!(laughs from the crowd)

foreman just stands there and puts on his mean stare.

after that, one of out ace reporters interviewed foreman.

Reporter: Are you gonna shut this guy muhammad ali up once and for all?

foreman: Look, I don't think i could do anything to get him to shut up, alright? this guy has been beat up half to death, been knocked down, got his jaw broken, and so on. and he still won't shut up! so the way i see it, no matter what i do, there is no way i'm gonna keep this guy from talking!

both men are in phenominal shape. ali came in with a little extra muscle at 213, and foreman was at 216. over 95,000 screaming fans came to see both men, but mainly ali. here's the tale of the tape.

                Muhammad Ali

                age: 25
                height: 6'-3"
                weight: 213
                reach: 83"
                record: 29-0-0 (23ko)

                George Foreman

                age: 24
                height: 6'-4"
                weight: 216
                reach: 81"
                record: 38-0-0 (35ko)

And now George foreman is walking down the aisle. with him is trainer **** saddler. foreman is wearing a blue robe. he climbs in the ring and a few cheers could be heard. hw now bounces around and shadowboxes. foreman looks determined as saddler intently talks to him.

Now Muhammad Ali is now bouncing to the ring center accompanied by his trainer angelo dundee. ali is wearing a bright green robe and the crowd goes wild when they see him. ali climbs in the ring, bounces up and down and does a quick ali shuffle to entertain the crowd. both men now take off their robes and their respective trainers are putting on their gloves. they are ten ounces. as they wait for the ring announcer to come on, ali talks to foreman from his corner telling him how he's gonna embarass him and whup him and knock him out. it is a very tense moment as now michael buffer is seen.

Michael Buffer: Ladiiiiies and geeentlemeeen, welcooome to the houston Astrodome for this secound round playoff. the referee is mark conn, the two judges are artie aidala, and tony castellano! presenting 15 rounds of boxing. introducing, from houston, texas, wearing blue trunks with white trim, he stands six fot four, he weighs two hundred sixteen pounds, "biiiiig" geooorge foooremaan!(a few cheers could be heard among the fans) and his opponent, also from houston, he's wearing solid lime green trunks, he stands six feet three, he weighs tow hundred thirteen pounds, he is the greatest, muhaamaaaaaaaaaad aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiii!!(95,000 people scream hysterically)

here is the referee mark conn giving the instructions.

conn: alright boys, you know the rules of the texas state athletic boxing commision. i want a good clean fight, remember to protect yourself at all times, any questions? ok, good luck.

the tension is building. but both fighters are ready. both men say their prayers. alibows his head and holds up his hands, and foreman kneels down and clasps his hands together.

Round 1: ali circles foreman and throws some jabs that foreman takes. foreman is cutting off the ring well landing some body shots that ali takes. ali then gets out of the corner to land some stinging combo's that doesn't seem to bother george. both men use their feet in this one, as ali boxes around foreman and tries to stay away like he did with sonny liston, and foremanuses his speed of foot to ct the ring off and nuetralize ali's speed. it's an even round pretty much: dundee is telling muhammad to keep on the run and land shots where he sees an opening, and saddler is telling foreman to be patient and pick his shots.

Round 2: both men do the same thing they did in the last round, but now foreman gets a bit sloppy and ali capitalizes and lands some right hands. foreman is taking them and he presses on. ali lands some solid combinations, but he still keeps on the run. foreman still cuts the ring off and lands some body shots in an attempt to weaken ali. ali uses his jab, and so does foreman to an extent: foreman looks pretty good and so does ali. both men are up at the warning bell.

Round 3: ali still moves for the most part, but is going more flatfooted to increase the punching power. foreman cuts off the ring well with unusual quickness for a man that size! ali still gets some jabs in as he now is landing his fast fluury of hooks on foreman's face. foreman hits ali with a jab that rocks his head back. ali is stunned for a moment and hold on trying to tie foreman up, but this tiem ali does not have the luxury of being stronger than his opponent as foreman pushes ali off. but however, foreman can't manhandle ali as easy as his other opponents, but he still does it nontheless. ali still loks pretty good landing alot of punches on foreman: ali rests for a while and so does foreman, and saddler is seen giving foreman special pointers.

Round 4: both fighters look a little less anxious, especially foreman. he knows not to rush his shots against ali, or else the same thing that happened in zaire will happen, now! ali is getting hit with hard shots to the body and head as foreman continues to close the gap on ali's speed. ali still lands alot of punches and still looks pretty good. foreman and ali are both doing well, but ali has defeinetely landed more blows, even if they aren't as powerful as the ones dished out by big george: dundee is giving ali pointers on what to do in certain situations, and foreman sits calmly on his stool.

Round 5: Ali goes back on his toes and seems to be having success at the moment as foreman is having a tougher time cornering ali than he did earlier. ali is fighting a strictly defensive fight, throwing only jabs and the occasional straight right. foreman's face is a bit puffy around the right eye from all the jabs he took from ali. ali jabs, jabs, and jabs. ali moves in to throw a fast right hand, but foreman beats him to the punch with an unexpected left hook, and ali is stunned! foreman follows up with a right hand and his vicious uppercuts, but ali still holds onas the crowd is on their feet and pandemonium is heard as the crowd screams in excitement. foreman tries to finish him off, but ali just won't drop as the round ends: ali needs some reviving from all the punishment he took, and foreman is calm and poised.

Round 6: foreman goes after ali impatiently, and ali tries to stay away. ali is still hurt from those barrage of punches, and foreman knows it. he jabs and then hits him with an uppercut that hurts ali even more. a left hook and a vicious overhand right finnaly send ali down! ali is low in getting up, so slow that he doesn't beat the count! the fight is over. george foreman takes game one away from ali and skocks the world!

saddler is jubilant, and ali hands his head in shame as he loses for the first time in this tournament.

buffer: the winner by a knockout at 1:01 of the sixth round, geeoooorge foooremaaaan!(some of the crowd is happy, some are not)

foreman: he's pretty fast, but i knew i would win. i'll have to keep this momentum up if i want to win.

ali: he's quick on his feet. i made a few mistakes. I SHALL RETURN!

WOW!! Ali gets demolished by the human wrecking crew foreman in six reounds. didn't expect that, did you? well, that was a great match and now lets send our camers over to the east in Michigan.

conn: alright boys, you know the rules of the texas state athletic boxing commision. i want a good clean fight, remember to protect yourself at all times, any questions? ok, good luck.

the tension is building. but both fighters are ready. both men say their prayers. alibows his head and holds up his hands, and foreman kneels down and clasps his hands together.

                  Ali Lost
well at least ur not being to biased lol
but thats actually how i saw it going prime to prime

                  • vs.

Hello, there. This is butterfly1964 and welcome to Olympia Stadium in Detroit, MI for fight #1 between the brown bomber joe louis, and the iron one, mike tyson. both men were in fantastic shape. louis came in at 203, and tyson was 215. louis is a 3 to 1 favorite to beat tyson. let's go to the press conference.

louis: i know this will be a great fight, and i'll do my best.

tyson: i know it will be tough, but i'm confident i will win.

well, few words were said, but make no mastake abotu it, they are both ready. these are two of the most complete fighters of all-time. i'm sure it will be a great fight. here's the tale of the tape.

                    Joe Louis

                    age: 28
                    height: 6'-2"
                    weight: 203
                    reach: 76"
                    record: 56-1-0 (50ko)

                    Mike Tyson

                    age: 21
                    height: 5'-11"
                    weight: 215
                    reach: 71"
                    record: 35-0-0 (31ko)

Mike tyson is coming into the ring wearing no robe. he is accompanied by kevin rooney and he looks prepared as the crowd boos him. now louis comes into the ring wearing a black robe, and the crowd is estatic. louis is accompanied by his long-time trainer jack blackburn. both are into the ring and they are warming up as michael buffer gives the announcement.

michael buffer: Ladies and gentlemen, presenting 15 rounds of boxing, lllllets get reaaady to ruumbllllllllle. introducing, from catskill, new york, he's wearing black trunks, he stangs five feet eleven, he weighe two fifteen, miiiiiiike tyyyyyysonnnnnnnn!(boos could be heard, and cheers for louis as he is being announced)and his opponent, from detroit, michigan, he's wearing black trunks with white trim, he stands six feet two, he weighs two hundred and three pounds, jooooooeee loouissssss!

conn: alright, now i want a good clean fight. protect yoursef at all times. three knockdown rule is waived, so is the standing 8-count, go to a neutral corner upon scoring a KD, break when i tell you to break. a fighter will not be saved by the bell when knocked down, except for the final round. ok? shake hands.(tyson put his stare on louis, and louis just stood there with no expression at all, almost stoic)

Round 1: Both men come out and tyson is bobbing and weaving. louis is forced back. louis jabs, and tyson performs head movement. tyson lunges with a left hook, which louis blocks. louis throws an overhand right which tyson avoids and counters with a right hand that louis takes. tyson is the agressor, and louis is forced back, just like he was against rocky marciano. louis gets some good shots in that tyson takes, but tyson loks better landing some crisp body shots that weaken louis as the round ends: tyson and louis are both resting and waiting for the bell.

Round 2: tyson comes out, ducks under a louis left hook and throws a vicious uppercut and louis goes down! louis is up at three and fights back, landing some hard fast combos tht tyson takes.louis jabs and lands a right hand, but tyson keeps on coming. louis is now using his defensive skills to survive the round and he is countering shots when he can: louis needs a little rest, and tyson looks swell.

Round 3: louis comes out and tries to get back into the fight. tyson lands some uppercuts that shake louis again, and tyson moves in and tries to finish, but louis survives the onslaught. tyson has spring in his step and he moves in on louis and corners him. they get into a clinch and louis tries to punish the body, but tyson beats him to the punch. when they break, tyson lands a great right hands that sends louis down for the count!

michael buffer: the winner by a third round knockout, miike tysoooon.(the crowd is booing alot as they are dissatisfied)

well, tyson also upsets louis, as joe loses for the first time in this tournament. it seems as the only two people in this tournament who hasn't lost yet, ali and louis, has now lost their first second round fight. well, i hope you enjoyed it, as i sure did. well, the final scores are Part1-foreman ko6, and Part2-tyson ko3. comment on this thread if you like, remember this is "NBA Playoffs + Boxing =". This is butterfly1964 saying good day!

                    • I am extremely surprised and amazed butterfly! I didn't think you would make Ali lose once. I know he will probably win all the rematches but well done for not being biased.
