Who could beat 86-89 Tyson?

About 100 guys at least. Buster Douglas easily outboxed then knocked out prime Tyson. Oh wait, it wasn't prime Tyson though 'cause he lost, right? Tyson is on a par with the likes of Helenius. That's his level. Nash out.Comment

You need to stop repeating dumb quotes other idiots say george was slow and easy to read nobody beat Mike who was that way so why would that be a nightmare see how idiotic that sounds you idiot
mike would be the nightmare for him cause of speed and great defense George never would landComment

I think Douglas, if his head is right, would beat any version of Tyson. Size and technique were just right.
86-89 Tyson had a difficult with the tall Tucker and Smith. Tyson couldn't stop either. But neither risked any offense either.
Bone crusher Smith in particular showed how you could neutralize the small Tyson but didn't have the power or courage to let his hands go. Fight was a stinker.
I think Foreman would have tied up Tyson in a similar manner but then in the later rounds would have pushed and turned young Tyson around.
Foreman could have stopped 86-89 Tyson - but also have had Tyson put him to sleep early.
A no bet fight.Comment

Anyone who could take his punches and dish it out would beat I'm pretty much.
Tyson clearly got discouraged whenever someone wouldn't concede to his power. Being Tyson from 86-89 is no different than the one who fought Douglas. That's a mental thing and I don't believe it would be any different just because it's 86-89Comment
