The fact of the matter is Tyson and Lewis are both exceptional fighters when all the data is considered. They have different qualities of being exceptional and one certainly cannot seriously consider Lewis' victory over Tyson....But Lewis fought many young very talented fighters and derailed them. Tyson fought guys with skills and was so dominant that it shows histalent BUT to make the argument this competition was exceptional is a hard argument to justify.

For you to claim Lewis was never buckled by Briggs or Vitali is laughable, your credibility on this forum is now completely shot!.. You are making it up as you go along, in a desperate attempt to hide facts.. i was in attendance for Lewis vs McCall (1) and when Lewis left the ring 5/6 minutes after being counted out, he had to be helped down the ring steps by his brother on unsteady legs. As Lewis and his team passed by me, i could see his eyes were still glass and that he was out of it. I was there to support Lewis, But as i came away i knew that any time Lennox ever fought another fighter who was "At the Top of their Game" like McCall was. That he would get knocked out.. Lennox carried on boxing for another 9yrs fighting old hasbeens & junkies, and staying away from all the top fighters. Hasim Rahman a journeyman poleaxed him, then he sc****d a victory against Vitali Klitschko to go out on a high. But the Lewis team knew all about his faults as did Manny Stewart. Which is why they refused to fight the likes of No1 contenders, John Ruiz, Chris Byrd & Corrie Sanders. Lewis and his team even dropped the championship belts rather than risk facing a fighter who was "At the Top of his Game"... The enjoyed nothing better than fighting Junkies!

The 80's were extremely underatted based on the 70's fighters who were really not great boxers, mostly sluggers and brawlers.
