Sonny Boy your haterade taste really bad.
Nope, its not hate bill, i like to call it opinion and facts. i don't hate Lennox Lewis, in fact he was an excellent fighter and world champion. The greatest Canada ever produced. I just enjoy "CORRECTING" guys like you, who claim Lennox to be the greatest and that he would beat every heavyweight who ever laced on a pair of gloves. i enjoy correcting you and pointing out the facts of Lennox career. i enjoy debate, but you cannot debate because you enjoy name calling and personal ridicule. Which is quite sad really, because you do have a little boxing knowledge. That if channeled correctly, would improve your standing.

You constantly confuse opinion and fact and often forget what you post....I never said Lewis was one of the greatest heavyweights just like I never expressed hate for Tyson. You basically got in a tizzy and sh11t up what could have been a useful thread because you slander posters accusing them of having opinions they do not hold. Then you take all information and misrepresent it. For example, if one is to believe your account, lewis in all cases always with no exceptions fought men who were already done....In all cases! this, aside from being statistically impossible, is innane. Then you carry it farther and claim that those in dispute have an agenda when you quite obviously are the one with the agenda.

The fact of the matter is Tyson and Lewis are both exceptional fighters when all the data is considered. They have different qualities of being exceptional and one certainly cannot seriously consider Lewis' victory over Tyson....But Lewis fought many young very talented fighters and derailed them. Tyson fought guys with skills and was so dominant that it shows histalent BUT to make the argument this competition was exceptional is a hard argument to justify.

I don't think Lewis had a spectacular chin, but I do think it was not weak. And proof of that is the Vitalie and Briggs fight. The Vitalie fight is obvious but Briggs when hefought Lewis had a very high KO percentage.

Well....I haven't calculated precisely how much better it is or isn't but the argument that Tyson has a better resume is innane.

For you to claim Lewis was never buckled by Briggs or Vitali is laughable, your credibility on this forum is now completely shot!.. You are making it up as you go along, in a desperate attempt to hide facts.. i was in attendance for Lewis vs McCall (1) and when Lewis left the ring 5/6 minutes after being counted out, he had to be helped down the ring steps by his brother on unsteady legs. As Lewis and his team passed by me, i could see his eyes were still glass and that he was out of it. I was there to support Lewis, But as i came away i knew that any time Lennox ever fought another fighter who was "At the Top of their Game" like McCall was. That he would get knocked out.. Lennox carried on boxing for another 9yrs fighting old hasbeens & junkies, and staying away from all the top fighters. Hasim Rahman a journeyman poleaxed him, then he sc****d a victory against Vitali Klitschko to go out on a high. But the Lewis team knew all about his faults as did Manny Stewart. Which is why they refused to fight the likes of No1 contenders, John Ruiz, Chris Byrd & Corrie Sanders. Lewis and his team even dropped the championship belts rather than risk facing a fighter who was "At the Top of his Game"... The enjoyed nothing better than fighting Junkies!
Counted out? Lewis was on his feet when the fight ended protesting the stoppage.

Cleveland willaims old /impaired Zorra folley out of prime and a mere 200 pounds also out of prime Cooper 180/185/ pounder not much to him but average skills, with a decent left hook This is alis prime is called the greatest and the best ever..soley because many saw an untouchable fighter in the 60's.I'll take Tyson resume anyday over Ais.

The 80's were extremely underatted based on the 70's fighters who were really not great boxers, mostly sluggers and brawlers.
