Along with Gene Tunney and the guy in your avatar, Lewis is one of only three world heavyweight champions in history to have retired beating every man he ever faced.
Mike Tyson got KTFO 4 times and quit in fights 4 times as well. He never avenged any of his 6 total stoppage defeats. Perhaps we can talk more about that.

Originally posted by sonnyboyx2 View Posti asked you your thoughts on Lewis two defeats... not his revenge victories. You keep trying to make comparisons of Lewis with Tyson?.. Tyson lost 3 of his final career fights by KO with it being well documented that he was at that time, addicted to prescription anti-depressants, alcohol, ******* & cannabis. Mike Tyson was also KOd in Tokyo 1990 by James "Buster"Douglas losing his world title in 10rds... Would Lennox Lewis have beaten that version of Buster Douglas?

Lewis was KO'd in his prime, which makes a big difference. Tyson was a drug addict, as is public knowledge. No one left him on his back in his prime.
Either might win a prime tussle. What are they fighting for, number 10 or 11 on the all time heavy list?

I think a prime lennox under manny steward would have over powered any version of buster douglass and stopped him within the distance... Who did Mike Tyson fight who was "At the top of their Game"..
Tony Tucker 34-0
Tyrell Biggs 15-0
Frank Bruno 32-2 (32)
Michael Spinks 31-0
Carl Williams 22-2
Alex Stewart 26-1
Razor Ruddock 25-1
Lennox Lewis was vastly overrated and avoided every top fighter throughout the 1990s.. To claim Undisputed Heavyweight Champion Rid**** Bowe avoided Lewis is rubbish..its like claiming Wlad Klitschko is avoiding Tyson Fury and that Fury will only fight Wlad if he gets a 50/50 shake.
