    Ha I love that!

I'm stealing that line for my next argument with a Floyd loving friend of mine!

      At 147 lbs.................

      Floyd Mayweather........11W...0 defeats.

      Sugar Ray Robinson.....110W...0 defeats!!

no where in this thread should Floyd Mayweather be mentioned, just ridiculous.

Why is it ridiculous to mention, that Greb did in one year, what it has taken Mayweather 17 years to do?

Do resumes not include losses? Charles, Langford and Robinson lost to relatively subpar fighters in their prime. The best resumes are Tunney, Robinson, Greb and Armstrong.

What subpar fighters did Robinson lose to in his "prime"?

Turpin. I know technically he is in the Hall of Fame but he wouldn't be there is SRR didn't lay an egg

You're being unreasonable. Turpin was a very good fighter, certainly way above subpar. Robinson had over 130 fights by that time and stopped Turpin just a couple of months later.

                    He wasn't prime for Turpin.

He lost to journeyman Tiger Jones, got dominated actually.

Not in his prime of course but before 2 MW title wins and his wins over Olsen, Turpin and his legendary KO of Fullmer and still while he was one of the best fighters in the world.

Can you imagine if Mayweather lost to a journeyman at this stage of his career? Hell, he just beat Maidana who's a good fighter and because he didn't dominate has had huge criticism come his way.

I'm not saying Mayweather is close to Robinson because of course he is no where near Robinson but the standards set for Mayweather are something I've never, ever seen.
