I can tell you that I actually know a few of those guys whose names you've thrown around in the last string of posts, and none of them would say they'd have beaten Joe Fin Louis with a strait face, though I'm guessing some might appreciate your vote of confidence. Boxing isn't like the team sports. It has not evolved a stitch since the 30s and 40s.
Yea its not advanced at all even though its vid that shows it has and mutiple other sports technology machines schooling and other stuff has your a troll i guess its still 1930s to then idiot get help

Most of the above would beat Louis. And if Conn can whip him (which he essentially did) then a host of smaller boxers also have an excellent chance.
Fighten' is 15 rounds, Conn whipped nobody.

Walcott went the same way. Yea don't bring up no first fight crap, Louis got screwed, caught between the NYSAC and NBA shenanigans, he wasn't allowed to get mentally or physically ready for that fight. When he was ready (II) Walcott went the way of Conn. Looked great for eight rounds but couldn't take it to the finish line.

I suspect everyone on your list, on any given night, could beat Louis (I can't speak to the pre-Dempsey fighters Corbett and Johnson, that style of fighting puzzles me, I can't envision them beating a modern fighter, i.e. post-Dempsey). But I'll bet you would never bet big money against Louis with any of those names, because you know on any given night Louis could stop any of them as well.

Tunney looks to be the most consistent and worth a bet (maybe Clay too). Technique as good as Conn and Walcott (without the flash) and big enough to look Louis eye to eye, and not a risk taker. Tunney I might bet on, the others all too risky.

Also we don't want to look at the Joe Barrow who fought Charles and Walcott (post war), we want to look at the "Jungle Cat" of '37 to 1940.

              - - Dude, no offense, but maybe you're too erudite and experienced in boxing history to deal with some of resident QuarterWits cubed for "special" affectations.

Lol, thanks? It's that old urge. Not the one where we desire victory in debates. Jesus no. A poster has to earn a debate. No, its that urge to bring someone into knowing, better their lives in some small way. But it's often times a struggle. If you've ever involved yourself in politics, offering yourself as a candidate; you know this feeling that I have described.

what you know about boxing is the closest thing to absolute 0 one can come to when trying to divide to the infinitely smallest divisions of an object. Math people who study the theoretical could use your help... Your rare insight into boxing presents the closest one can come to absolute... In your case? absolute Nothing... So lets pickle your walnut size brain... and we can use an a s shole for the mouth! a win win for us all.

You know, I always thought Tunney was the king of the sock-puppet accounts: Apparently Queenie (aka LRR) is giving him a run for the money
