have retired since then? are still fighting since then?

it's an odd quesiton. fighters "since" 2009? what does that even mean.

jones and toney are retired. morales is retired. holyfield too.

      hopkins still fights

      floyd still fights

      manny still fights

      marquez still fights.

of those resume listed, the best may very well be holyfield. dude fought EVERYBODY.

Totally agree, holyfield has fought 15 round championship fights, and went on to challenge guys like Valuev and Sultan decades later,,, incredible feat, and he was robbed vs Valuev...

evander and oscar are the two guys i have witnessed in the last 30 years that fought everyone- win or lose

That's the epitome of "skewed logic".
No, skewed logic is acting like your opinion sets the standard for who get's in the IBHOF and who doesn't. Are you part of the board by any chance? If not then your opinion is just that (an opinion not a fact).

Where have I said what I'm saying is fact?

I have done nothing but merely share my opinion, which is Martinez is not HOF caliber.

Martinez will get in the HOF,,, jr mid champ plus lineal mw champ with a fair number of defenses,,, is he on the same level as monzon, hagler, hopkins,, NO
But he does have some good solid wins over barker, williams, chavez jr, pavlik.
I think he deserves to be in,,, has lost once to a prime margs but i think he hasnt had a legit lose since,, the williams defeat could have gone either way, even though i think serg got a gift vs murray.... the cintron fight should have been a serg ko victory or at the very least a UD.....

I just don't think that resume you just listed is nearly impessive enough.

It's good for sure, good enough to be a Top P4P guy for a while but not HOF calibur at all.

I don't think he'll get in myself, won't surprise me if he does though.

Your calling my own opinions "moronic" because I disagree with yours. My opinion is that Sergio could very well make it to the HOF because there have been historically less famous and accomplished fighters who have made it to the HOF; I don't think there is anything outlandish about that idea.

As far as whether he deserves to enter the HOF I can't say for sure because I neither make the decision nor the criteria.

If you feel that he doesn't deserve to enter the HOF, then that's your opinion and you are entitled to it.

No, I said using the logic of "Gatti is in" to justify someone else getting in is a moronic way to look at it, which it is.

Please take the time to read through my post slowly so that maybe you'll understand my argument and I won't have to re-post it again.
