I could see an argument for ATG MW if he beats Golovkin(Depending on the cut off point for ATG rankings at a division) although the MW division is very rich historically of course.
Martinez's promoter won't even discuss Golovkin as a potential opponent. They don't want none of that. I'm predicting Sergio's next title defense to be against Miguel Cotto. Whether that enhances his all time rating is debatable.

I agree that a Cotto fight would not do much for his ressume but GGG or moving up to beat ward would be huge though he is a bit to old and like you said breaking down so those two options will not likely happen and if they did he had better be real sharp on the night to win against either

Holyfield because of his trememdous heart and will to win and his techniques!
Pacman because he spans from 112 to 147 in weight and comes to fight using everything he has to win.

Everyone else on peoples lists are waiting to finish their careers.
        Floyd, I'll see more first.
Sergio, no way in hell, hes fought no one that resembles a great fighter to begin with.
BHop, please stop, good fighters don't become great just becase they fight picked opponents when their old. Moore was fighting young killers when he was far past his best.
Jones might be, gotta think about that one. Probably not. Incredible athlete.

        Ray.

Good, glad to hear it. I think I read that also on his Wikipedia page, but it said "citation needed". When I get a chance, I'll be watching Holyfield's career set then, now that he's retired, as I can get just about all his fights.

Why would they do that though, it's really no win for them. Vitali is probably on the way out, probably one more fight at best, according to recent reports and there's no real up side for Wlad beating a shot, former great heavyweight champion. And if he loses to him, his career is pretty much over as well. Sounds like Evander wants one more big payday, all those kids with different women are probably getting pretty costly.

Guys like serg and cotto will be HOFers for sure, but not ATGs,,,,

To be an ATG i think you have to dominate your generation, and serg and cotto did not do that,, guys like manny, floyd, hopkins, dominated their generation

                Of course.

But obviously he still believes in himself and can't see reality.

He brought up the fact he fought Foreman and Tyson fought Holmes etc. I wasn't going to argue with him though

Evander would be fkn 51 by the time the fight happened. I doubt it would even get sanctioned.

I guess the kind of confidence it takes to become champion of the world never really dies in a fighter, Holyfield probably would get in the ring with Klitschko tomorrow if they let him

Oh no doubt. Holyfield is as fearless and self confident as any fighter ever.
