Again, that doesn't mean it's not ******ed.

Not because "I say so", just common sense dictates it. Justifying someone to get into the HOF because of another undeserving fighter being in there is just plain idiocy.

But that's not what you're doing, apparently.
So why mention it? Please don't put words on my mouth, what I was doing was certainly not 'justifying' anything nor did I insinuate it and that last statement doesn't excuse you.

Like I said, it wouldn't surprise me if he got in considering the standard of recent years.
I never said you should believe anything, I just said it's not unreasonable to think he could make it into the HOF, which has nothing to do with what you think. I'm not sure where you're going with the bold statements, but if it's just to harass me then go troll someone else.

I feel Gatti (irrelevant of whether I think he deserved to enter the HOF or not) made it on the basis of his 4 FOTY fights and popularity (fought big names like ODL & PBF). I believe the fighter's quality and achievement are not the only factors in deciding who get's in, hence the name 'Hall of Fame.'

it's an odd quesiton. fighters "since" 2009? what does that even mean.

jones and toney are retired. morales is retired. holyfield too.

      hopkins still fights

      floyd still fights

      manny still fights

      marquez still fights.

of those resume listed, the best may very well be holyfield. dude fought EVERYBODY.
Are you sure about Jones and Toney? I mean, have they officially announced or stated anywhere that they're retired? I know Toney fought back in June and Jones last year.

And I suppose there were people in the area that really thought he would wrap Tyson in his "cocoon of horror".

Achievements in one's sport are all that SHOULD get someone in their respective hall of fame though. I've often heard a couple of good quotes on whether certain athletes should get into the hall of fame which are that if you even have to think about it, the answer should be no and that "it's called the Hall of Fame, not the Hall of Pretty Good."
