        Not at their best weights.

robinson has a higher skillset. I’m not sure whos faster p4p since the footage of ray under 150 lbs is rare and also low framed.

roy had skills to, it wasn’t just speed. He used a skillset similar to Burley. (Don’t confuse a fighters build or style with skills) they employed similar stuff. Mummy rolling punches and grappling. Stuff you see saddler do at featherweight.

ray was a better fighter, better chin. Roy held a style advantage that used his speed to nullify everyone he faced. I just think up against a great like Robinson p4p it could be different.

Roy is certainly great, but his body of work still doesn’t totally declare him a winner over a prime Robinson given weight wasn’t an issue (p4p terms). I don’t deem some of his wins as dominating as portrayed either, his style sort of sold it to the judges. Especially the Hopkins fight which needed a rematch as Hopkins gained confidence. I believe Roy knew this and sort of went after better / easier fights - not to say he was scared of Hopkins, just sometimes business makes more sense. Roy had a style that could really dominate a certain style, he would become a superstar quickly.

              - - Ray the higher rated great, but one on one, Roy would have a big advantage of size, ie middle not being Ray's best weight class.

Roy was also faster, quicker, and a better athlete in general, but he would be short on experience in a middle title bout. He clowned Popkins there with a broken hand before moving to 168 and 175 where he garnished his best accolades.
