Imagine being HW Champion for 25 defenses; trained by Chappie Blackburn, and never rising above being a "so basic" fighter.

How could we have gotten this so wrong for so long?

Imagine Holyfield with twice the power.

Joe currently resides in Valhalla fighting all the greats. Fury current resides inside that twitter universe he created inside his empty noggin.

I think Fury is overrated, but not terribly so.

Now Joshua was terribly overrated. He might even still be. All the expected fools--Tyson, Holyfield, Lewis, Foreman--jumped on Joshua's bandwagon for a ride in the parade after he beat young Klit because young Klit refused to fight. Joshua became the most overrated fighter since Jeff Lacey. I believe he is finished already, and will never again be a big time fighter. I also believe that boy is stuck in the bottom half of the all time heavyweight division. By buggery, lads o' mine, bring on Braddock, Sharkey and Burns to test him!

I am waiting to see if AJ has the rematch magic of a SRR in him, before I write him off.

Some are better the second time around, let's wait and see if he is one of those guys.

He has to dominate the rematch as he did last time or you won't have to worry about him being overrated. He loses again and they will chop a zero off his paycheck and he probably retires.

True. I generally hate insulting or disrespecting the men in the arena doing the deed, but I've always felt that Bowe got all the respect he was due and then some. If we went half way back in the modern age of boxing, 65 years, with his series of wins over aging contenders, contemporary fringe contenders and his epic series going 2-1 with Holyfield, I tend to put him about like this, 1957 - 2022:
                    1. Muhammad Ali
                    2. George Foreman
                    3. Sonny Liston
                    4. Lennox Lewis
                    5. Larry Holmes
                    6. Mike Tyson
                    7. Wladamir Klitschko
                    8. Tyson Fury* (Moving upwards with each fight)
                    9. Joe Frazier
                    10. Deontay Wilder*
                    11. Anthony Joshua*
                    12. Evander Holyfield
                    13. Vitali Klitschko
                    14. Cleveland Williams
                    15. Ken Norton
                    16. Zora Folley
                    17. Rid**** Bowe
                    18. Jerry Quarry
                    19. Floyd Patterson
                    20. Ron Lyle

If your daughter's life hung in the balance, wouldn't you bet Joshua is a muscle scrub?

I pick Joshua to beat Eddie Hall.
