They don't fight from range much; they leave themselves open a lot.
A lot of times, they will just throw themselves into the body and not protect themselves.

They use mostly counters when up close; the lateral movement is very basic; they don't seem to be able to punch from range while doing it smoothly; they have to stop then punch most of the time; and their feet are mostly tiptoeing.

And a lot of times they wait for the person to hit them, standing right in front of their opponent. They all had these or multiple of these flaws in this era, because it was all they knew it was the style. "

They even a lot of times looked to seem like they getting ready to dodge as if a football player were ready to run and they looked off balance doing that the person usually didn't counter that they just got away with it, they did that cause they weren't always good at reading where the other person was moving to, on top of they had their hands low doing that

do you not see all these things in this match?, did they have all those flaws in the Toney match or technical style I posted?,would you like me to link another Match?,you will see all the same problems is that a coincidence? Or the style of the era? So agian I say how is any of this a opinion? When it's shown on video?

      A
error that wouldn't be countered because the reflexes weren't there and the tech wouldn't allow rock any chance videos prove this i posted this multiple times, and no match ever did rock hit a person 1 time and they were dropped so don't know why you keep saying that

I think I'd go for Rocky here, his work rate would make the difference imo.

Toney will be hit harder than any heavyweight ever hit him. My house on Marciano.

No doubt Toney can make him miss a couple hundred times, but Marciano never tires and Toney would not only be sucking wind but his arms and body would be absolutely crushed. Its then in an overwhelming barrage toney gets out out.

'Infighting is one of the lost arts of modern-day boxing. This has been brought about by a lack of concentration on the parts of both trainers and boxers. Neglect in this area has resulted in many fighters today being deprived of knowledge that could make them better at the sport. As it stands, the short-armed boxer is taking only minimum advantage of his superiority in close-in action. The long-armed fighters, who usually work best at a distance, are often totally ineffective when it comes to close-in fighting. Both types stand to gain much from a knowledge of in-fighting. The short-armed boy can off-set his natural disadvantage against a lankier opponent, and the long-armed boy can improve his offensive and defensive power by learning a few tricks about infighting.'
