I'd take Mugabi by KO in this. Martinez is getting too much praise lately. He won the world title and scored a hot KO on Williams, and all of a sudden he's something great.

Martinez keeps his hands way too low to be in with a puncher like Mugabi. He'd have a speed advantage, but he wastes too much energy both in movement and winging punches. Martinez hasn't shown KO power against anybody serious other than Williams. I wouldn't count on Martinez knocking pre-Hagler Mugabi out, and his energy wouldn't sustain the distance. I think he'd take an early lead, but he'd tire in the middle rds under Mugabi's pressure. Mugabi would walk him down, keep him moving and throwing just to survive, and stop him late once he's fatigued.

How the fcuk can you put a fighter with say 40+ losses, 50 odd draws in the top 50 ever, seriously?

Sam Langford has 44 losses and 55 draws including newspaper decisions. A better question is how could one NOT have him in their p4p top 10? The answer? Ignorance.

No great fighter losses arguably in the region of 100 damn times to a load of ballerinas, milkman and circus acts.
He only has so many wins because he fought the same bums over & over & over again, padding his record out.
          Quality over quantity!

One of the most overrated, overpraised pioneers ever. If that useless, fat bum was around today he would be nothing but another Eric Crumble.

The guy got battered, outboxed & KTFO by guys who never even trained, guys he outweighed by upto 30lbs. The Boston cry baby was a joke as are most of these ''pioneers'' many know-it-all armchair experts claim are ATGs

One of the best boxers ever with well over 100 fights of experience and he is getting clattered on a weekly basis against unemployable handicaps with extremely little experience? Yh great boxer

BUM! Wouldn't even get a job these days spit-shining shoes.

Well, I think your time trolling this section has come to an end my friend.

Mugabi showed more power against better opposition than your boy Edwin Valero ever did.

That would be the half full prediction. I see the same result, but because Mugabi wasn't that good.

DeMarco is nothing special....in any capacity. He'd have been a footnote at best back in the early 80's. No way he is as tough as Curtis Parker was- but boxrec.com can't tell you the full story.

So, your little "lol" at the beginning of your post may have made you feel good, but it was empty.

Demarco is nothing special but Curtis Parker is? Curtis Parker got KO'd in 1 and 2 rounds by the only semi big punchers he ever faced.
