He was not special....just a very solid fighter and a super tough guy. I don't even know if DeMarco rates that highly. But, he is fighting in today's low standards (which is why you are so delusional a fan) so it makes him appear to be better than he really is.

When you saw that he was KO'd by Nunn on boxrec.com, did it tell you how washed up he was? Didn't think so.

If you weren't following boxing at the time(s) that you speak of, try not to speak so boldly, fool.

Let's say DeMarco and Parker are equals in terms of toghness and ability...who had the more power-proving victory over them, Mugabi or Valero?

How old are you and when did you start following boxing?

I am 12 and started following boxing last month. WTF does it matter you got people who talk about fighters from the freaking 20s

^^^^^ That's the first credible thing you've posted since you've been here.

If Martinez was in Marvin Hagler's shoes the night they fought, he would have a hell of a fight ahead of him.

But, I suppose you have to take Martinez by decision. If he could make it through the first couple rounds with Mugabi, he would probably control the fight.

The difference isn't talk, its about putting the time in and actually finding out. In other words, digging deeper than just boxrec. You my friend are just lazy, therefore you have no credibility on boxing history.

Mugabi has only lost by decision once in his career. What makes you think Martinez wouldn't KO him.

What makes you think he would? Mugabi went 11 rounds with Hagler, who was much better than Martinez. I'll take Martinez by decision.

I don't care about those other people.

I ask because you're arguing with me about the value of Curtis Parker in the early 80's. Unlike you, I know not only who he fought and the results...I know the climate of the game at that time and the quality of the fighters around him. I also know exactly the same about Antonio DeMarco. You, however, only truly know about DeMarco's time.
