You know Hearns was actually better at 154 right? And Benitez had already had a long career (in terms of major fights) at the time.

Yet, he still didn't stop Benitez.

You're only talking about Corrales being a big puncher now. We know he is. But his performance against Floyd has nothing to do with how Hearns would fight. Chico was not only smaller than Hearns, he had relatively short arms, unlike Hearns, who had unbelievable reach. When did Hearns ever put ******ed pressure on anyone like Corrales did Floyd? He didn't, he liked to throw. Watch the Leonard fight. Sugar Ray is a skilled counterpuncher and he was really struggling to time Hearns' punches. And the only way he beat Tommy was by brawling, he couldn't out box him. Do you think that Pretty Boy Floyd of the last 30 years. hardest puncher of the last 30 years?

Saddlers technique was fine, and dare I say that the end result is what matters. Sure he was a dirty fighter. Does that mean he couldn't punch? He stopped the like of Joe Brown, Lulu Perez, Elorde, and Paddy DeMarco. These are much better names than Castillo. Frietas, Gainer and Garcia.

Let's keep in mind one thing.

            Leonard couldn't out box Hearns.

But Mayweather is a better boxer than Leonard.

yes chico had short arms.which is why he didnt fight tall.hearns had freakish reach, and you negate that by getting on the inside.leonard choose to stay on the outside.once he decided to kick tommy ass,it was lights out.hearns was a mauling puncher but he wasnt physically strong, and he didnt have the highest i.q.he was paper thin and could be bullied.which in all hearns losses, its cause guys got physical, hagler, leonard, barkley.

IMO, Hearns has the greatest jab in the history of the 147 pound division. All his losses were by men who outslugged him. He was never outboxed. He outboxed master boxers such as Leonard, Hill and Benitez. Mayweather doesn't have the power to ko him and is too short to land enough punches. Hearns by 12 round decision, similar to the Benitez fight.
