    That's not the issue, is it? Bottom line, Hearns had a much bigger P4P punch than Corrales. And he was a much better technical boxer. The only similarities are that they're oversized power punchers.

    And to answer your question, Alexis Arguello.

      the issue is if hearns fought at 130 his k.o ratio would be about the same as diego.in the high 90's.nobody is saying he had as a big a single punch.just that at the same weight of 130,they have comparable power.

      ive only seen alexis against olivera,mancini,escalera and pryor of course.seems like arguello had more of a thudding power like cotto.his punches didnt seem as explosive as corrales.id say its a toss up between those 2

          Benitez defense is incredible no doubt, but he used his freakish athleticism more so than his boxing skill to avoid punches. He made his fight with Hearns fairly interesting because of it and he didn't rely completely on countering his opponent for his offense.

          Floyd on the other hand is much more reliant on his technical skill and likes to play "rock - paper -scissors" with opponents offensive game plan, he will spend the first few rounds figuring out what his opponent will do and then he formulates his own to shut it down. Against Hearns I don't think he can do that at all, he would have to press Hearns and get after his chin but I don't see Mayweather having what it takes to do that and see him getting beat in a one sided UD.

            KO ratio doesn't tell the whole story. Just by watching their opponents, you can see that Hearns was the bigger puncher. He just hit people harder. Chico could ****, but Hearns is a top 3 P4P puncher in history. And his awkward style makes this one real bad for Floyd.

                  im not dis*****g hearns had the bigger punch,i was just highlighting the fact that floyd fought a very tall murderous puncher and the same things were said.he's to small,hes gonna get k.od.if you really watch boxing you should notice that mayweather is a very physical fighter.i cant see hearns steamrolling him,but i can see hearns gassing late

                      I disagree. Saddler was a certified beast at 130. His ko wins at that weight outshine Corrales in quantity and quality.
