What Does Pacquiao Have To Do, To Surpass Ray Leonard?

And I am not very big on Leonard.
Leonard got beat AND beat a lightweight Duran. Hagler is past and uninspired. In between those were bum fights like with Ayub Kalule.

How many fighters on pacs resume have:
Gone on to have another career defining fight?
Became a legit threat to their division again?
I think i just get annoyed at your posts and your points, with your arguments being all over the place how can you expect uniform logic in the way its argued?
The reason fighters dont go on to be a threat to their division is because Pacquiao `finishes them off` they are never the same fighter again after facing Pacquiao.
if you get so annoyed at my posts then just dont read them, that way you can save yourself all the anxiety symptoms you claim they cause you... its maybe down to "The Truth Hurts"

Was he not elite? Quite easy to answer...
Was he fighting at an unhealthy weight? Of course not, in fact he was so well in shape that he was the one in command late in the fight.
So in other words, what I said is still correct, and with it comes that Pac does not have a win comparable to Hagler, (or Duran for the matter), never mind Hearns. If Pac beat Mayweather (after Pac also takes 2 years off), that would be like Leonard beating Hagler. As Mayweather still dominates, but not as impressively as he did earlier in his career 2005. Pacquiao fighting guys who were dismantled less than a year before he fights them is a bit different than Leonard fighting Hagler after seeing him getting hit too much by Mugabi, or failing to obliterate the best fighter of the last 40 years.
I can go on for ages nitpicking Leonard's resume. I don't really like the guy (except while he is actually fighting, in which I case -like I said- I am simply mesmerized). That does not take away that his cherrypicking is not as bad as Pacquiao's. You can see that a KO win against Mugabi is a tad bit better than an almost shutout loss to Raheem no, or KO losses with vicious beating included, as is the case with Hatton and Cotto, no?
ps: I did not know that Kalule was a bum... who told you that?

Pacquiao is ranked higher than Leonard now going by commentators like Lampley, Stewart & Merchant who rate him in the Henry Armstrong league (Top 3)
As for fighters `wanting the fight`- Pacquiao is the sports No1 P4P fighter & No1 PPV fighter after his string of victories over Cotto, Hatton, Delahoya, Marquez, Morales, Clottey, Barrera.. almost every top fighter from 140 to 160lbs is hoping to get a shot at him due to the mega payday

Cotto had beaten Clottey and agreed to fight at 145lbs he was not forced to do so, Cotto also said "Pacquiao was the best he had ever been in with", Cotto was also a World Champion.
Hatton was beaten at 147 by Floyd, Hatton had never lost at 140lb and was regarded as the worlds No1 at that weight.
Pacquiao lost a close decision to Morales then avenged it Twice... Morales was no where near past it.
PAcquiao has a draw with Marquez the 1st fight, split decision win the 2nd fight. Most people who saw the fight, sportwriters or whoever believe Marquez won both fights, either way they were life and death struggles for PAcquiao
De La Hoya hadn't fought in the welterweight division in 7 plus years and was drained.. He looked like a zombie, it's obvious to any sane person Oscar was a shell of his former self..
Cotto was basically forced into fighting PAc at 145 because the fight wouldnt happen at the original welterweight limit of 147.. it pretty sorry pac made cotto fight at 145 for a welterweight fight but is willing to go up to 154 and fight for a potential belt.. Cotto was having a life and death struggle against a guy who doesnt even press the attack in Joshua Clottey, many believe Clottey beat Cotto.. and Cotto hasn't been the same since he fought plaster man Margarito..
Hatton, who after a loss to Mayweather went on to fight Laszcano and almost got koed by him.. Hatton had to get bailed out by the ref oh yea and that fight was at 140. Hatton, a guy with a history of ballooning up in weight between fights who came off his first defeat by ko not too long prior to fighting Pacquiao, yea he was prime alright..
LOL and you had the audacity to say Erik Morales was in his prime when he fought Pac.. Especially in the 2nd fight, when it was well known he had trouble making weight and was coming off a one sided loss to Zahir Raheem.. ok
