If not what does he have to do?

For starters he would have to beat somebody on the level of Duran, Benitez, Hearns, or Hagler. He hasn't done that yet.

Why did Cotto agree to it? Why didn't he complain about it before or after the fight? Because it was never an issue. You would have to ask Pac why is was necessary. Either way it didn't affect the outcome of this fight.

I don't think it affected the outcome of the fight. But I don't like that fact that Cotto had to do it. You can't have it both ways by claiming it doesn't hurt him. If it didn't hurt him it shouldn't have been requested.

If it did hurt him why did Cotto never complain? He is in fact on record saying the weight was never a problem.

Either way, Pacquiao was wrong for requesting it.And Cotto should not have had to put his belt on the line. They requested 145 for a reason and it wasn't for Cotto's benefit. No way can you tell me that Cotto didn't have to work extra hard to make that weight whether it affected the outcome or not.

My man, it was 1lb and Cotto himself said it wasn't a problem. Why make an issue out of something that is a non issue for Cotto?

he just gave you the answer. if it is a welterweight championship bout and the limit is 147, why request cotto to come in at 145? If it doesn't matter or if there isn't a benefit to PAcquiao, then why did he request it?????

(1)Style wise Cotto is made for Pacquaio. Pacquaio beats any left hand dominant fighter easily, its the right hand dominant ones like jmm1,jmm2 and emm1 that he has problems with.
                  (2) Dont you think that Pwill would be too big for Pac?

                    (1) Cotto's strength , chin and speed were effected by the catchweight , regardless of style. It had effects. fact.
                    (2) Pwill would be too big for pac indeed , but wasn't he too big for Quintana too ?
