Tate and Fulton never weighed 250lbs.

    McVey was around 206/208lbs and 5'10 1/2

    Wills around 204/ 208 and 6'2"
Well 250 lbs doesn’t matter. Tony Galento a small he was 244. Its all about what the weight is made of. You mentioned size first.

Tate and Fulton very very likely blew up past 300 in retirement.

being 250 doesn’t mean you are big. My buddy is overweight he is 233 lbs - hardly a heavyweight by any stretch.

weight is not an indication of size - Roberto Duran was 260+ lbs at one point. Same frame, different scale.

I expect you to understand this point. There is limitations to what I will argue about

Six feet six and 250lbs IS an indication of size.
What Tate and Fulton weighed in retirement is irrelevant to this discussion.
Just say ,"okay,Sam never fought a guy that size, I was a little too enthusiastic there," nobody is going to shoot you!lol

          - - U say U boxed, but demonstrate U don't know boxing as most boxers don't. The Good ones are the ones that know boxing and AJ one of the best today as well as one of wealthiest.

6 ft 6 yeah...being 250 can be made up in different ways. YOU KNOW THIS STOP THE TOMFOOLERY

            I absolutely will not

You take a fit dude and stuff him full of mcdonalds and he's a bigger man to you

Dubois and his walnut sized head and baby hands

Dude needs to drop 30-40 lbs

It's always with Langford too We have barely anything to go by to start with. theres what? one book on him? and a broken probably inaccurate boxrec record. He's probably got a stuffed pig or 2 mixed in those 400+ fights of his (maybe more who knows how much he fought)

I've asked which 6 '6"250lbs fighters were around in Langford's time that he might have fought and the fight gone under the radar ?
You didnt answer, just waffled on about what Fulton and Tate might have weighed in retirement because you can't admit you're wrong .I gave you an out that would not entail loss of face.
I've got better things to do with my time than play silly buggers with you over this , argue with whoever has the inclination to share this fanciful nonsense with you , I'm out.

He can sprawl and switch stances effortlessly - he has no weak points in his body.
Because he wasnt making the weight to be sanctioned at heavyweight (at least not in his prime). The best versions of Langford were noted as weighing in at about 170, and thats same day weigh ins.
They just wouldnt sanction someone of that weight to fight Anthony Joshua today. Eventually, he put on more weight, but the prime for Langford was less than heavyweight

                    - - Sam definitely liked to eat and gained a lot of weight, but nobody in boxing has as many HOF fights.

Sam is too good for today. Let these soft lads today do enough to make a bout with Sam in Valhalla. We gonna see what we wanna see.

So not just big guys, they have to weigh a certain amount? Regardless of what the weight is made of? Being ripped and muscular or just filled up with anything. When I go to the gym I see some dudes on roids looking about 260. They look like they might have a heart attack in any form of combat. So let me ask you (not in relation to your question) do you figure that weight is weight? And it doesnt matter at all the composition?
