Second career George always praises other fighters to the hilt.

    It means nothing.

Watch his comments on Joe in the 'Champions Forever' documentary (1988).

Praising Frazier is one thing, not facing Tucker is another. This is years later with no need to praise Tony. The way it sounds is he just didn't want to take the chance. George is very complimentary to many fighters, but the fact is he did give up his WBA strap rather than face Tucket, and said Tucker was "to tough" though......i guess it's a matter of opinion. But I choose to believe his act of not fighting him backed by his own words.

Foreman never feared any man, '1st or 2'nd' career.

Personally I think the 1991 George who sent absolute prime Holy flying 10 feet.across the ring with one punch would have put Tyson into the A&E due to styles.

            - - That was Foreman's jab that he blamed for knocking Field too far backwards for him to follow up for the finish...yeah!!!

I actually think no one on history (apart from maybe McCall) could take a full flush Foreman punch to the chin and not be severely damaged, even Ali who never was fully.

Holy later said he asked his corner if all his teeth had been knocked put!

Tucker was one of a gaggle of very talented fighters coming up late 80's early 90's... Pinkleton, Tubbs, Tucker, Etc... Even someone like Witherspoon, though Tim was more of a puncher...

Foreman would really test Tucker's resolve.

It's interesting to think there was a real potential for Tucker beats Foreman, Foreman beats Tyson, Tyson beats Tucker. I was alive but too young to remember it well.

I think there was a possibility that scenario plays out. But I'm more inclined to think Tyson beat Tucker, Foreman beats Tucker, Tyson beats Foreman. Tucker may surprise though. George certainly wasn't keen on fighting him.

I actually think 1991 Foreman puts Tyson into the OORT Cloud.

Styles make fights, I hate to think what prime George would have done.

Oh and Tyson would not keep getting up like Joe.

Frazier had the biggest heart of any heavy in history.
