The real problem with that conclusion is what we do not know about other fighters. How do we know who has juiced and who has not? It is a real tough question. For example. Toney did not look like a "juicer" before he pissed hot. If a fighter is caught, then we know. That much is certain.Comment

You’re all over the place with your ranked fighters. Here’s some advice for you going forward, why don’t you STOP assuming? You’ve done it multiple times and have been totally wrong every time. Let’s just stick to the actual facts.
So I will offer you some clarity;
Collazo, Diaz and Lopez?None of those were ranked.
Actual ranked fighters he fought;
Zaveck - Decision
Guerrero - Decision
Porter - Decision
Garcia - Decision
Pacquaio - Loss
Barrios - Decision
So on second look he actually has a 0% KO ratio vs Ranked opponentsWhat a KO artist. Barely any knockdowns either and not a single one of those fights did he come close to stopping them.
He is NOT a KO artist. That is just simply a fact and I’ve explained that to you now numerous times.
I couldn’t care any less what the “media” said. The same “media” said Adrien Broner at 23 was better than Mayweather at 23. That is a none argument.
The data is what matters.
Secondly, Porter had ALSO never been stopped until the final fight of his career and went the distance with several other top fighter's including Spence, Garcia, Brook, Ugas, Alexander etc so you can't really hold that against Thurman. Similarly, Garcia was ALSO only stopped in the final fight of his career and also went the distance with a bunch of top fighter's too. Therefore, you can't really hold that against Keith either.
That leaves Guerrero who was only stopped ONCE in his career and 4 fights after facing Thurman. However, Thurman did manage to drop him numerous times. Therefore, ALL things considered, the 4 ranked fighter's Thurman faced were all EXCEPTIONALLY tough having only been stopped ONCE a piece in their ENTIRE careers (mostly in their final fight). Therefore, you simply cannot blindly claim that Thurman 'isn't a puncher' without context and without evaluating each of his ranked opponents on a case by case basis (after all 'the data is what matters').
Re the boxing pundits, tv, media and fans, you may not care what they have to say but they sell the fights and huge sums of money are exchanged based on their opinions and the overwhelming consensus at the time of facing Pacquiao was that Thurman WAS a puncher (hence the 'One Time' nickname).

If we are consistent and understand this fluidity one can see Marquez is no different than many fighters who might have used an illegal drug.Comment

A couple of things, firstly this discussion ONLY relates to Thurman's KO ratio at the time of facing Pacquiao. Therefore, you cannot suddenly include Barrios (who he fought AFTER Pacquiao) or Manny himself to beef up your tally. That leaves just Zaveck, Guerrero, Porter & Garcia. Re Zaveck, even though Thurman beat the living daylights out of him and won every round, the Slovenian was a tough sob who failed to go down. However, Zaveck has only ever been stopped TWICE in his career and once BEFORE facing Thurman. However, his loss to Berto shouldn't be considered a true loss because it was a doctor stoppage due to a cut eye rather than a knockout and more importantly, Berto tested positive for banned substances just a few months after beating Zaveck. Therefore, we have to EXCLUDE this loss!

These are facts and that means that they are not a ko artist. Pick any actual KO artist in the history of this sport and all of them will have high KO% against ranked opponents.
You’re again using the media narrative as some kind of reasoning when that is a none argument. The media saying something doesn’t make it in any way true like the example I just gave you with Adrien Broner and countless other examples that could be listed.
Here are the facts of the matter, Thurman had fought 4 ranked fighters prior to Pacquaio and stopped none of them and dropped one of them.
That’s not a KO artist.
