I don't rate fighters i could beat up, but of course poppy gonna burst into tears trying to get the ref's sympathy. The boys in the pen must've had a field day with him...
The first lhvy champ was Jack Root.he lost it to George Gardner who lost it to Fitzsimmons.
Ever think of reading a book about boxing?
Maybe get some idea of how it works and its linealogy?

The only thing you could beat up is your meat.

Actually, it was Marvin Hart vs Gardener for the 1st supposed LH title that Gardner won before beating Root.

Billed World & American 170lbs Titles
Hart retired after round 12, claiming a broken hand. The Louisville Courier-Journal reported that Gardner was ahead at the time of the stoppage.

Time for U to study up and crawl across broken snail shells as any of the press early 1900 could claim such was a world title fight. Fitz vs Gardener was legit

Wrong! Root's manager invented the Light heavyweight title and matched his man against Kid McCoy for the newly created title .
          NB It's GARDNER not GARDENER.

          See Below.
"The light-heavyweight division was created in 1903, the brainchild of Chicago journalist Lou Houseman who was also a boxing manager and promoter. He matched his own fighter Jack Root with Kid McCoy and announced the fight as being for the light-heavyweight championship of the world. The boxing press accepted the new weight division and Root was accepted as the inaugural world champion. Jack Root was defeated in his first title defense against George Gardner (boxer), who was considered the most thrilling fighter in the division, and the first undisputed Light - Heavyweight Champion of the World."

Root and Gardner both weighing 160lbs,fought on the 18th of August 1902 in a contest billed in the local paper[Salt Lake Herald,] as for both the World's Middleweight and Light heavyweight titles.neither title claim was given any credence

Hart NEVER fought for the World LHVY Crown,he won and defended a spurious title named the World &American 170lbs title.
For somebody with such a big mouth, you are remarkably ill informed about every aspect of boxing history.
Lots of infantile posts, plenty of noise, but no facts, no primary sources just a load of ignorant BS,from a decidedly ignorant man.

Has anyone ever told you that ,you are a 24 carat prick?
If they haven't previously, they have now.
You are the most ****** and ignorant poster on here, a complete waste of space.
The inane posts you continually make .just emphasise the total vacuity of what passes for your thought processes.
