Usually, they were mentally in control of all of their fights.

All-time, I'd be tempted to go with Muhammad Ali, who knew how to mentally fxck his opponent & demoralize them fighting off the back foot until they were adequately fxcked & he could finish them.
Never saw Monzon out of control of a fight.

Just a beat poet and a an early "influencer" (before we coined the term.)

But I don't think: their works are that bad; that a comparison works as an insult.
His insults are much like the sand castles he builds up as strong stable structures, when making a point on the boards. Like the sand castles? as long as water, or as long as logic does not enter a conversation, Queen B is right.

Unfortunately for him there is always a tsunami of evidence to prove him wrong.

Is it an aggressive fighter (Armstrong), a defensive type (Mayweather or Pep), a counter puncher (Moore) or someone who is a mix of skills?
Robinson, Armstrong (as you said) Ali, Gene Tunney, Whitaker, Loche

Not a ring general... Heres an interesting aside, clue. Personality. He was a free spirit, go which way the wind blows... Generally that type of behavior predisposes one to traits carrying over into the ring. Ali was another one... He was an improv guy, make adjustments as needed, let me try this, or that... Not really a general in the ring. Compare that to someone like Hopkins (someone mentioned him) who sets traps, tries to impose himself all the time, a guy who controls the ring in his approach. Outside the ring, Hopkins is disciplined, |While Loche chain smoked, bernard ate food that was tasteless to be better... See how the traits transfer?

Thats ok... One of these days he will stop snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

It sounds like bullshit, but I heard the queen say something true once. He said Canada is colder than Mexico.

And then he said Mexico would be colder but the president sold the contract to own the country to the Narco *********s.
