Correct. By having every single fight film in a database from 1900-2023, every volume of knowledge published on the internet, data on the human body and how it move, etc volumes and volumes of data will allow for comparisons and predictive understanding that we simply canât fathom. Our phones are already predicting a scary amount of things just based on viewing habits, eye movements, body temperature, sounds and timing etc

I have a hard time believing an AI machine, even with all the information in the world of past things that have happened, can predict what a boxer will do over an extended period of time in the future!

Now I of course understand, that if (for example) my internet surfing is being monitered (which it undoubtedly is) - a computer would likely predict, that my next internet search would be for young nubian girls. And it probably would be right!

However, that is very different from predicting what a boxer will do in the ring. How would a machine have been able to see "no mas" coming... or the ear-biting incident, or a fluke ko punch/injury. It doesn't make sense!

Predicting a fighter long term is like trying to give a weather report for six months from now--can't be done, as already rigorously shown by Chaos Theory. That is why a probability is assigned instead of a certainty. Weather was one of the principle phenomena that inspired chaos theory.

Keeping your guard low, hardly moving your feet, and sticking your face forward style of boxing is a recipe for ... disaster.

Boxers in the gym, especially heavyweights should try it. I mean someone should try it ... if you don't like them.

Its not long term though, its frame by frame prediction. And it will and already is. If can def get a read on rythms and timing etc intangibles with data. Just like a human brain can predict and react.
