The camera failed to work,consequently a fake film of the fight was made using the real fighters going through the motions wearing stage make up,a re-enactment.

Monzon hung them up at age 34. Hagler was the heir apparent. IMO, Hagler beat Briscoe more impressively than Monzon did.


So why didn't Monzon fight Hagler next? Was anyone in the press asking for a potential match up between them? Lots of question here.

The fight is not in Monzon's record on Box rec.neither is it in Fernandez' record on Box rec,nor is it on CBZ, or in the Ring Record Book.

PROVE IT HAPPENED .POST A REPORT OF IT .IT WOULD HAVE BEEN FOR THE SOUTH AMERICAN MIDDLEWEIGHT.IT SHOULDNT BE HARD TO FIND!
