There is good reasoning behind that thinking.I think Las Vagas did lean towards favouring Oscar a little bit.Lets not knock Oscar to much atleast he fought the best of his era Trinidad-Quartey-Mosely-Hopkins-Vargas etc. With the exception of Hopkins (who defied old age) everyone else was in their prime unlike some boxers not to mention (Floyd) who only fought big named boxers when they are close to collecting old age pension.

Exactly they don't. And fighters don't do that. They finish strong. It's what I liked about Mosley. A week later on HBO, I remember he was ahead, had a guy beat and still fought hard. Did the same thing later in his career when he was well ahead of Margarito. And in both cases, Mosley actually got the late stoppage. If at all possible, you wanna try not to leave it in the hands of the judges because you never know what idiots are judging the fight. But if you have to, you close the show strong.

I remember the HBO crew mentioning that aspect, regarding Oscar and Las Vegas, throughout the event

I'm a Tito fan myself. better than some people think. Hearns has only one weakness and that's his chin. Only a great fighter can expose that weakness. Tito is not that man. I know someone will bring up Barkley. Barkley got lucky.

              Like who?

Floyd was older than everybody he fought. Except the 2 who ducked him for years. Oscar and Mosley.

Mosley turned the fight down in 2006 live on hbo.

And oscar was the face of boxing. You dont choose oscar. Oscar chooses you. Oscar was in control of when the Mayweather fight happened. So it happening when oscar was older ain't nobody fault but oscar. He could have chose Floyd years prior. Oscar was the ppv king, not floyd.

                - - They fought and Oscar schooled him easily. He went defensive the last rounds that were basically even because Trini still couldn't do a damn thing to him. Easy Oscar win he don't get credit because Mexicans not allowed to run in boxing.

Trini a decent boxer when he had to be against Mayorga for example, but slow hands and feet with the mentality of a slugger is gonna lose vs Oscar in any honest scorecard 365 days a year.

l'l floydy spent all of his last years MGM Vegas running like a chicken with his noggin lopped off knowing the commish was in Haymon's pocket.
