Everyone avoided southpaws, so the story goes.
They say trainers would 'turn fighters around' just so they can get fights.
So IF Blackburn avoided leftys that would just make Louis normal.
Isn't Michael Moorer the first southpaw to win the HW title?

About as much as you typical bum of the month guy. Louis sparred with Bettina did so poorly his mangers outlawed him fighting south paws! I posted the information here for all to read.
Bettina mixed it with some of Louis opponents, and many black opponents Louis avoided and beat like Curtis " Hatchman Sheppard, and Jack " Tiger " Fox. Also Buddy Walker and Eddie Blunt. He also beat other Louis opponents like Jimmy Bivins, and Red Burman. A hall of fame fighter, and one who was very hard to knock out!
Hmmm... A tough Southpaw who could move and box. It makes sense why Louis avoided him.Comment

You've spent days slagging off Louis for the Galento fight saying Galento was very short with short arms.
Well Bettina at five feet nine was the same height as Galento but his reach of seventy inches was two inches shorter.If Louis had fought Bettina and dumped him you would be on here trumpeting about Louis fighting a short guy with short arms.You hypocritical ARSEHOLE.Comment
