This place runs in cycles. It'll be hot for a few months and than all of a sudden cool down. I use to post a lot more, but between family, work and my training schedule I do more reading here than posting nowadays. I also won't engage in a topic I know little or nothing about. I'd rather sit back and learn.

It is the same old handful of regulars and the same old rehashed topics. Fresh meat would be welcomed voraciously. I'll give you that much. Without durable, robust ******* to feast on a forum withers and wrinkles and turns to dust. Seen it many times. Hell, I may be your latest ******. As a recent outsider, I can tell you: What this place needs is recruitment, and needs it bad! Time for some of our mods to pound a little pavement I suppose. Don't worry about us. We will mind the shop while you entice people to visit the forum. The old door-to-door sales campaign is tried and true and still has plenty of potential. Gentlemen, give them your support, love and encouragement, and I know our mods can do it, they will bring home the bacon!

You keep posting thread topics to bait Dr. Z and others in yet another long draw out argument for ten plus pages. People are tired of the petty bickering and attrition posters with agendas and jockeying for the last word.

I don't suppose, I can be counted among the 10, as I only post here sparingly.

However, when an interesting topic comes up, I do invest some time here... like the thread that claimed to prove, that the old-timers were tougher with better chins. I mean, It's hard to just sit back and not comment on something like that!

I guess the modern fan identifies more with MMA. How about the mods doing some vigorous recruiting though? You think that is an OK idea? They have more at stake than anyone, since modding puts chowder on their tables. I see from the archives they have quite a few banned. Maybe they need to invite some back and do it quick!
