I think Joe was one of the greatest super MW all time.I do not think though he would have beaten a Roy Jones JR in his prime at 168.Not trying to take anything away from the man i mean he fought the best of his era & defended his super MW belt 21 times & retired undefeated. The greatest super MW all time & yet we almost never hear his name since he retired & i think one of the big reasons for that is he isn't American.

By the way its FOUR opponent beaten who were ranked in top top five, not three as you claim. So you are wrong. I put then in bold. Simply admit you mistake and move on.
Chris Eubank UD 12 – (9) – 168 – 01/98
Robin Reid SD 12 – (7) – 168 – 05/99
Charles Brewer UD 12 – (5) – 168 – 08/02
Byron Mitchell TKO 2 – (6) – 168 – 10/03
Jeff Lacy UD 12* – (3) – 168 – 06/06
Peter Manfredo TKO 3 – (10) – 168 – 07/07
Mikkel Kessler UD 12 – (1) – 168 – 02/08
Bernard Hopkins SD 12* – (C+) – 175 – 07/08
Roy Jones Jr. UD 12 – (6) – 175 – 01/09

Brewer was coming off a loss and was not in the Top 5.
That ranking was the end of the year ranking for the year prior BEFORE he lost to Ottke where he then dropped down in the ranking.

1997 = the rankings are of DECEMBER 31st 1997. It literally states that.
At the time Calzaghe and Eubank fought, Eubank was unranked. Again, objective fact.
It seems facts are something this website really struggles with.
Today Ring Annual ratings are archaic because they do countless updates during the year. Forever their Annual ratings would be published in the next year, ie Feb-March of 1998 in this case, ie for some 80 years straight before they figured out how ****** that was. You pop in their Ratings team then?
Man, I'd say you need Depends at both end as you don't know which end be sitting on your John.
