It was actually a great fight to watch... or maybe it seemed that way because of all the chemical enticements we had that night lol.
Moorer doesn't have serious depth in his resume and will always be most known for getting knocked out by George Foreman

      - - More than a bad night. Moorer retired Field from boxing.

      That's a Syronora night...zzzzzzzz[/QUOTE

Holyfield came back a year later. Regained the title by beating Mike Tyson twice including one time making him quit and what happened in 1997 when Holyfield and Moorer had their rematch. Exactly.

He didn't beat him up. They both threw 5 punches a round. Teddy Atlas had to plea with Moorer to be somewhat aggressive

Holyfield=PEDS -- That's what I thought happened in the rematch.

              - - Mr. Field say it was Preacher Man Benny HaHa(sp) who made his hard heart cushy soft and beating better. They was prayin', not documenting.

You are dead on Mikey. No argument from me.

Doesn't matter. There are other things to consider when adding up a fighter's career campaign. A great example here; Moorer won the heavyweight championship of the world, the oldest and most international title in sports. Moorer fought for the title once held by John L. Sullivan, Jack Johnson, Jack Dempsey, Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano and Muhammad Ali, and won that title. Vitali Klitschko, as a recent example of a gifted heavyweight; fought for that title only once, and lost. History alway has the final say. Moorer is IN.

Imagine the Baseball HOF without southpaws, I mean it would be joke. Today Lefties hold near half the belts in spite of being a minority, approx 12% of the global population.

Head to head Moorer beats most hvy champs in history, and most certainly Ingo and Floyd, but that's strictly fantasy since every fighter is limited to the competition in his day.

David Tua never won a belt, but BTFO of Rahman and Ruiz who did hold belts as well as Moorer, yet Tua frozen out with just a single title challenge vs Lewie.

Knockouts have always been highly significant, taking it out of the judges' hands, I mean really!
                  Yes or no?

                  No but just my opinion.

How many top 10 fighters did Tua fight from 1996 to 2000? I really liked Tua, but his resume is thin to say the least. He was a great puncher, but most of his knockouts came against fringe top 10 guys.

Since Gatti got in, I say Moorer should too.
