You have to read carefully. I said "Was TO BE FOR." We are all well aware that the money was swindled away from them.

Once again, you have to read carefully. The original fight was not to be 7 months after the Jim Johnson fight. When Johnson broke his arm, the fight was postponed. It was originally set for December, same month as Jim Johnson, then moved to the 2nd week of January. Then postponed nearly 7 months because of the injury. And it was to be for much more than $20,000. The word was $35,000 to Johnson, win, lose, or draw. You have to do some research, man. Then you wouldn't have to be schooled on what really happened.

It's clear he would have made more vs. Jeannette. The fight could have happened with no legal issues or social objection in France. The French stripped Jack Johnson of his title. Jeannette was shafted and denied his chance of making history. It is a shame.
He won't care. Facts don't matter to him. He'll keep running you in circles until he gets the last word. In his mind that's what winning is all about. He'll repost some 100 year old anonymous news clips as irrefutable truth and ignore whatever sources you post. Johnson left $19K on the table so he could avoid Jeannette and fight Battling Jim. Johnson almost lost that fight as well. A cherry pick gone wrong.

False. It's your boy and you ignoring facts. Stop playing victim when everyone knows you're a shlt poster that can never back-up anything you say. You'd rather run away.

I'm almost certain the Moran fight was set before the Jim Johnson fight. The Moran fight was set in September. The earliest mention I can find of the Jim Johnson fight is in December, the month it happened. And judging by the purse, it was thrown on at the last moment for a money grab, as we've told you but you can't accept because it ruins your agenda against Johnson.

Johnson was going to pick up the amount from the Jim Johnson fight and the Moran fight within one month, which was going to be much more than what you guys are claiming he was offered for Jeannette. A fight with Jeannette would have taken the place of the Moran fight, but $20,000 is not $35,000. It was Jeannette's own manager who was behind the Moran fight and the whole fiasco that ensued thereafter, if I remember correctly.

And remember, this is coming off Johnson already accepting a fight with Jeannette, that was pulled by the NY Commission.

          Cheers.
We all already know your opinion regarding that issue you have shared multiple times.

I was wondering if you could see past you bias and give credit where credit is due.

I've flat out stated that Dempsey was an all time great fighter. I also believe he was generally a pretty good guy. He has done a lot for boxing and boxers. But saying things like that isn't enough for you because you suspend reality and go on the attack if anything about his career is seen as negative. And you are quite nasty about it often. As I have told you guys here before, I give back the energy that I'm given. If you want to keep our conversations here civil, I'll agree to that. If you want to be nasty, I can play the dozens.

              - - I would think it quite apparent that most all here think quite highly of Wills in this period as the last of the great black heavies of his era.

Dempsey and Wills were far greater than the venal, hamhanded politicians of then, and indeed now still carrying on their illicit glad handing graft at this very moment while ruining the future of the world for everyone soon to be born.

On Jack Johnson he is very biased and can't accept negative facts.

You haven't given any facts that mean anything here. I've been waiting but you haven't shown anything.

Did you look over the information I provided and find the error of your ways. I think I laid it out clearly enough for you to follow.

I've stated clearly when I believe Johnson was wrong about something. I've stated he lied when he said he took a dive vs. Willard. I don't like that he beat women. I believe he participated in at least one thrown fight at the very end of his career. If you have anything else you'd like to ask me about, let me know. When it comes to giving these guys a chance at the title, the fact is that he agreed to all a number of times and had the fights pulled through no fault of his own. Those are the facts.

You not giving the information I requested! You opt out. I give information out every week here. Your biased and selective on the " information " you give.

Again how much did Johnson earn for O'brien, Ross, Kaufman, Jim Johnson and Frank Moran? Asking again Mr. agenda who hides the facts and twist others. He would have made much more vs Langford, Jeannette and Mcvey, period. Okay maybe he can't fight in some states but sure could in others and the UK, France, and Australia for bigger purses.

He ducked them plain and simple.

I don't have the information you are requesting. What am I, your secretary? It's for you to bring the information to the table and explain why it is relevant. I don't believe what you are asking for is even relevant and i've explained why. So if you want, why don't you get off of your lazy ass, go do the research, an bring it back just like I did with the information I shared....?

Sorry, but he accepted fights with Langford and McVey in Australia. Also accepted fights with jeannette in New York. These are facts. Bring yours to the table and let's discuss. Don't be lazy. I'm waiting!
