    - - Tiktok is currently being legislated out of existence in the US and UK and good riddance.

They used a youtube fight link to infect my laptop that effectively made it useless.

After many fruitless reboots, I took the gloves off and just rebooted consecutively over a week, never allowing the computer to reset. When I allowed it to reset, it was like Hal at the end of 2001 a space oddessy that thankfully Dell had a rebuild program that put it together again, but never as robust as before.

Thoroughly enjoyed that. It looked like the positioning allowed you to anticipate a lot of what he was doing... I don't know if it felt that way? Also, towards the end, specifically using your jab you "shot the gap" effectively. It looked like you initially were defensive and then came in close to attack... but if you take that "shooting of the gap" and practice it, you will really see a particularly effective way the old ways worked... It just takes anticipating position and throwing something initially before the technique you want to land... like you did when you doubled the jab up.

          Again, really enjoyed the film.

Thank you all, I will continue to try and employ this style and get some better footage.

there are some decent boxers in my area that some of you may have heard of, perhaps I can get in with them at some point.

Yessir its essentially “baiting headmovement” I ve been working on in for a few years now. Its a lost skill.

You may already know this but ill just type it out anyways:

headmovement is not for dodging punches, instead you put your head in positions to get them to throw first, then make them miss deliberately. Outside of stuff like pull counters its almost impossible to reflexively slip and counter stuff. Most of it is a rhythmic set up

basically like most of the old fighters did it.

the other factor is smooth movements are harder to pick up than sharp jerky ones.

theres an old analogy that the human brain is like a cup of goop, if you jar the cup the sludge splashes outside the cup. If the cup moves in the same direction as the force however, the sludge will not splash outside the cup. (Riding the punches). This allows the fighter to employ risk taking behaviour by appearing vulnerable.

my 2 cents sir. Flow like water

                I can't watch the tiktok.

I don't have any issue, like politicly or whatever, it just will not load for me.

I work head movement and counters with a lot of the young guys at my gym. I'm better at teaching it than actually doing it, but I tell them it's easy to slip a punch, the trick is to be in a position to counter it. You got good skills, keep working g!
