When was the last time a smaller man beat a good top ten ring magazine ranked larger man on points in a significant fight at heavyweight?

If you want to kind of get a feel for the logic employed by the OP regarding defining/naming things please see link below:

Does James Toney at HW count? He was just a fat middleweight (what Fury claims Usyk is)

If you consider the significant fights and they and elite level than sure. Plenty of examples? We have one vs elite level, and just a few examples in tier two. That isn't plenty and we are going back 30 years here.

Is it elite fighters or top 10? You need to make up your mind. And for as little research as I've put into this, those are plenty of example. What exactly is the point you're trying to make anyway?

If Toney got his we down and came in around 215, 220, I think he would have won both the zRahman fight and first Sam Peter fight.

                - - Currently Michel Hunter freshly kicked out of Boxrec top 10 by Zhang and Hrgovic is ranked 11th.

Like Chris Byrd eating his way to 215, he's bigger able to eat into the 220s now. Still a small heavy and beat some good fighters, but nothing top 10. Was seen in a spar photo with Wilder now at his new 215 wt, and hunter looked considerably more robust than Deyonce.

Lots of small heavies have beaten bigger heavies over the years

                  Michael Spinks
                  Michael Moorer
                  Evander Holyfield
                  David Haye
                  "Fast" Eddie Chambers

Haye even beat a Valuev who was 100lbs heavier and 10 inches taller.

Dudes like Jack Dempsey & Joe Louis were beating the hell out of bigger dudes 100 years ago.

                  Stop the nonsense.

Though you are obviously right, the OP has qualified his specifications with a very narrow criteria and every time an example is found to refute his "point?" He moves the goal posts, it's how he operates.
If more examples are found he will restrict the criteria further,

E ,G. They will have to be ginger haired , blue eyed ,south paws, whose names began with D , or some such nonsense.lol.
