  • One Hit Wonders

Personally, I believe Joshua will prove to be a two hit wonder. But what he does can never live up to the hype on him. He is a well built semi-scrub.

Buster Douglas held the title briefly but never did anything else of note. Some boxers have a great career, some only a great fight that appears to come out of nowhere.

Imngomar Johansson never did a thing of note after he beat Patterson, that I know of.

    Plenty of others.

If AJ gets to rematch Usyk in the reasonable future, and beats him handily, he will be resurrected to ATG contention, again.

It looks now that he won't get a Tyson Fury fight and may well slip from the public consciousness (especially in the States).

He needs to make a move soon.

But it's not over for AJ just yet. We all know this can be a one fight business.

I actually think he's gonna win the rematch.

Corrie Sanders immediately comes to mind. Never beat a top 10 fighter before stopping Wladimir Klitschko, never beat one afterwards. People acted as if he was a machine of mass destruction after beating Wlad, but every time he stepped up he was exposed. Good guy, overrated fighter.

            Rocky Graziano's slide.

From trilogy sensation to hopless contender to losing to Chuck Davey.

              - - KOed the guy who on short notice almost KOed Vander.

Widely avoided both because of his nationality and quick starting southpaw KO power. Died a hero's death protecting his daughter in a mass murder shooting.

Looks like U dyslexia mixed up U mass of mixed up protoplasm.

So are you using a triangle theory or just trying to troll about Holyfield? Either way, that's a very ****** comparison.

Was avoided because of his nationality? He was openly against aparthied, so why was he avoided? Can you cite some examples?

He did die a hero though.

Sanders is the line for sure. He was very dangerous, but two of his four defeats were to Rahman and Klitschko. He buzzed Klitschko in that fight and had Rahman going before getting blasted out himself.

If Andy Ruiz doesn't beat Luis Ortiz, he may end up on the one-hit wonder list.
