Lar in training for a year in his personal gym built on his estate for the express purpose of fighting Tyson. Tyson was on 3 month schedules busy unifying the title to fit in Lar when he could. That Lar who was still undefeated in his pea noggin was much younger than the Lar when George fought Tyson.

Indeed, as I mentioned, Lar did win 2 of the 9 rounds scored.

The point is, has, and always shall be on the top of U noggin. Ya could look it up?

Why do you hate Holmes so much lol?
          - - Love him as punch dummy statistical anomaly. Is there any former champion of any division with worse than an 0-6, 0 KO title record against standing champs holding a title won in the ring?

May well be a record, but the algorithm has yet to be created because there was no $$$ in a Holmes fight or career.

He made more than virtually any other champ because of one simple thing: He beat Don King at his own game lol.

                - - He's wealthy because he invested most of his $$$ in his hometown real estate, then in an Iron Rust Belt slump. Probably cleared 20x those early investments that he probably still owns. Kids set up for life, but nowhere near Big George territory.

The point is he was smart enough not to let King swindle him like he did so many others.

"These guys can’t survive on their own because they don’t know how to protect their money. They get broke and desperate, and that’s when Don King puts that trap out for them. They’re like a rat looking for cheese." -Larry Holmes

                      - - King paying Lar peanuts to fight nonchamps kept Lar on the lower order pay scale. Ali/Joe/George/Kenny were the big purse stars fighting the big fights.
