  • I dare not even read this, just reading the title is enough. George Foreman is not overrated and is one of the greatest of all time. Great guy inside and outside of the ring.

You followed very carefully? So did I, I was going to it but couldn't find the £150 required. ps Ali didnt look that special against Mildenberger either. You'll be hard pressed to find a boxing writer who thinks Ali beating Bonavena was a vintage performance.
Yup. That's all fine. My thing is giving Quarry, Bonavena and Frazier the credit they deserve, whilst acknowledging, as you have, that even prior to the layoff, Ali could render less than perfect performances such as Mildenburger, Jones, etc. Pivoting here a bit, Seferi and Pianetta vs. Quarry and Bonavena.....wow!

Wood chopping right hooks that just about says it all for you.LOL
ps The kIdneys are situated outside the permitted target areas for boxing. The top of Ali's legs were badly bruised from the many punches that strayed low and his hips took punishment too ,but not his kidneys.

If its just attention you require, walk around with your **** out, that will do it and it won't be cluttering up a forum where people actually want to talk seriously about boxing.

            - - And still racked up 81 fights, 76 wins, 68 by KO, and in his last fight had the future stud Briggs hospitalized for rope burns on his back he was running so hard from George.

            • “His resume is thin, he only beat Joe Frazier twice and Ken Norton!”

and those 3 wins are probably better than any heavyweight champion in the last thirty years lmao

also, Ron Lyle was a hell of a win and a hell of a fight.

                1) Im not so into total fights if you are fighting lower tier opposition. Yori Boy Campas had 127 fights.
                2) I wouldnt call Shannon Briggs a stud but I agree that Foreman really won that fight.

                  - - Yori ain't a great champion much less a champion heavy.

Briggs surpassed Dempsey by a fair margin in 1st round KOs, but of course he needed extra fights and is hardly a bum.

Buster Douglas may not have been better than Klitschko, but.....he was better than anyone Wlad beat. Consistency? You mean consistently bad? IMO? Opinions are like azzholes: Unqualified people like yourself have them and they're all full of shlt.

What makes someone unqualified to talk about boxing?
