The other, 22 and tough was fighting for an amateur title. He lost a decision. My trainer and I were talking about it and how to get him to shift gears, to go for it when it's to close to call. I just don't hear many other people talking about "shifting gears" like that to often.

Anyway, I agree with you. Hopefully the up and comers will keep getting better and the best fighters in the division now keep looking for the best fights to make. I like to see contenders earn their shot against other contenders. I also like to see them come back after a loss to keep fighting for their ranking. In the Klitschko era to many contenders just waited their turn and were content to be one and done. Maybe Wlad was just that good compared to them, but thats not a championship mentality conducive to a deep division.
No substitute for personal experience when trying to understand a concept!

May I recommend you take the great Nash up on his offer to mentor and his homework assignment?

If Queen knows what is good for them, they will. Queen is being stubborn and avoiding homework. Nash may have to hand out a detention to Queen. Nash out.

Sincerely, your mentor, the Great Nash. Nash out.
          - - To busy watching Usyk burst open like a sausage on the grill does.

I admire Usyk and Parker for being some of the few willing to fight AJ when half the top 10 in the division that ain't already beat by AJ are ducking him like Deyonce and Blubber...you're welcome.

It's good to hear from my protégé. Nash, and I'm sure Bilbo as well, your two mentors, feel that in time, you can become a valued and knowledgeable member of the boxingscene community. We probably need a third mentor as well, at. least in the short term, as we can fast-track you if you are triple-decked.

Remember your homework, go and be enthralled by masterclasses from Usyk and Tyson Fury. Nash also wants you to watch the first 3 Rocky movies just for some inspiration. Your mentors have your back, Queen. We can do this. Nash out.

                - -, I'm as triple decked with AJ duckers as you are, the only difference being you and your ilk strangely exalt in your 3 duckers avoiding the KO by AJ whereas I call them the Moe, Curly, and Larry of the heavyweight division, good for some laughs but certainly not A-List heavyweight greats like AJ and Usyk who has already exceeded the heavyweight record of Holyfield by many measures...you're welcome...

No one ever in danger if being KOed. Usyk was not going to take that risk. Sad statement to hear from a newly crowned King.

The game of prize fighting is being discredited by too much boxing and punch counters. Need real fighters who want to step up and fight not wait for punch counters to tell them they won.

Hope Fury catches this guy with an uppercut.

Stop blindly praising contemporary fighters and use that 'expert eye' and evaluate them as harshly as you do the old timers.
What about the last 20-30 seconds or whatever it was? Joshua's team were not waving the white flag around to get a breeze going, Willie. It was 5 seconds away from being thrown into the ring. Nash out.

Have you at least did some homework, Queen? Your charge Nash is adamant about you at least watching Fury vs Wlad again, maybe even twice in a row to really drink it in. Nash leaves nobody behind, well, maybe Nash does, but not Queen. Nash takes their role of your co-tutor very seriously, taking time out of their very busy life to see what havoc you are raising around the forum, knowing that they have to keep you in line, and and to bestow their wisdom onto you. Nash is the wisest of wise men. Nash out.

And that indicates what? was Usyk any less dominant? If Roy Jones face had looked like hamburger after the Toney fight would it have mattered?
