Why was Ali's return from exile that much more successful than Tysons?

I don't mean to pull age in you but the Dad's off hand irrelevant remark was based on how terrible Wilt was at free throws. In the early years he use to throw the ball underhand like a kid, later he shot overhand but moved back to the top of the key. He just kept throwing the ball too hard.
That's not the way Wilt made it sound (at least to me) in his interview. He said his father was a big boxing fan and that was his reaction when he asked about fighting Ali.

      - - I'm a bit embarrassed for U to even point out that Ali refused to sign the Wilt contract his minders had previously approved as witnessed on the Cosell/ABC segment U highlighted.

Ali was still licensed and in good graces with the US government as a former Olympic Gold Medalist, ie Ali was still licensed and in good graces with the US government as a former Olympic Gold Medalist!!!!!!!!

U throw up false narratives about Wilt's daddy, maybe his mommy too, et al, that has nothing to do with the Cus trained Wilt ready and eager to signed an agreed upon fight contract at the Cosell staged ABC sports segment.

Nobody cared about the fight after that save Wilt using Ali as bait for NBA salary negotiations that were quite lucrative as opposed to the peanuts Ali was making...you're welcome.

        - - And for the rest of U clodhoppers, Tyson initially was more successful in his comeback than Ali who got immediately whooped by Frazier.

Overall, Ali eventually reeled it in as Tyson was in the full meltdown of his career and life.

          You're an idiot.

On April 28, 1967, boxing champion Muhammad Ali refuses to be inducted into the U.S. Army and is immediately stripped...

Stripped of title. In a fight far more important with the US government. I feel bad you're either to ****** or to biased to get this. When the fight could happen, Wilt never showed to sign the contract. This is a fact.

                - - What part of Wilt and Ali on Cosell orchestrated ABC contract signing don't U blinkers understand?

It was the only fight the public was highly interested in during Ali's first title run.

What part of the fight was not able to be made do you not understand? The video shows Ali calling for a contract. A month later he was stripped of his title and in a much bigger battle with uncle Sam. When the fight could be made Wilt never showed up. Now what part of what I just said is not a fact?
