Jerry quarry in his prime was a very good fighter. If there was a Cruiserweight quarry would have been Champ. Plus, he came along in a very tough era. Only Ali and Fraizer stop him from being champ.

Exactly!!! I will say though that some held titles (paper) that were held in higher regard than the WBO.

For me it's not the belt that carries the prestige. It's who you fight (and beat). Either you are the (lineal) champ or not. It's a binary.

LL clearly ducked the the rematch with Vitali. Had he just retired soon after their first fight, I wouldn't call it a duck, but the way disgusting way he handled matters and dragged things makes him look bad.
