What does this have to do with the fact Sanders never beat a top 10 fighter before or after Wlad? Was Roy somehow obligated to fight Sanders? And how does one paper title plus another paper title mean anything when Lewis was the recognized and lineal champion?

Corrie died in a mass restaurant shooting where he threw himself on top of his daughter to save her.

He died an heroic death and not the zero of the usual suspects always polluting the environment.
Has nothing to does with his standing as a fighter.

I guess we have to say Ellis as well. But he put on a stinker of a fight and refused to engage the cagey Quarry.

            - - It has to do with the unusual amalgamation of U ****** wif U igno.

Nor did Rahman ever beat a top 10 fighter before or after Lewis.

Byrd an American southpaw who couldn't break an egg was ducked by Lewis who sold his belt to DKing rather than fight Byrd, so of course Lewie gonna duck a Lefty KO artist like Corrie who was doubly cursed by being SAfrican just like Lewie did his best work ducking the Ks. So the outsider duckees got together for a nice little scrum for the record books for U to fill U shorts about.

For me it's not the belt that carries the prestige. It's who you fight (and beat). Either you are the (lineal) champ or not. It's a binary.

And none of that changes the fact that Lewis was indeed the recognized champion. Do you disagree?
Nope. As much as I feel Lummox is generally overrated, there's no dis*****g that he was the lineal champion.

Wrong again. Rahman beat Barret and drew with James Toney and Tua.

Lewis didn't need a trinket as his standing as champion was already solidified. there was nothing to gain by beating Byrd, though i think Byrd deserved his opportunity. And there was no ducking of the Klits. Wlad lost taking that fight off the table and Vits had his face torn off and was stopped. Why are you trying to take this in a different direction than Sanders never being the champion and never having beat a top 10 fighter besides Wlad?

No, it has everything to do with you trying to get off the subject of his never beating a top 10 fighter besides Wlad.

LL clearly ducked the the rematch with Vitali. Had he just retired soon after their first fight, I wouldn't call it a duck, but the way disgusting way he handled matters and dragged things makes him look bad.
