Tony Tompson, 6'6" 81 "reach,..you were right about him, nobody would fight him because he was a lefty, ....except 47 fighters who DID.....HMMM maybe they were only a mirage.

Working back from the start of his career, have to go back 60 or 70 years or more to accumulate the sparse Lefty heavy title fights. Moorer seems to be the first lefty heavy champ followed by Corrie Sanders. Joe Frazier fighting orthodox was reputed to be a converted lefty as most all Lefty fighters were until the end of the 20th Century..

Like traditional MLB batting prowess, Lefties now dominate all division rankings in proportion to their numbers, the average being approx 30% in comparison to 12% of the world population estimated to be Lefties. Boxing still don't record switch hitters like MLB did, ie 1% dominated with 4% of the top hitters in history. But now Crawford and Fury are perhaps the top switch hitters in history...you're welcome...

Corrie Sanders was not the recognized champion when he Bear Wlad, Lennox Lewis was. Sanders was a mere paper titlist as Wlad was at that time.

Jerry quarry in his prime was a very good fighter. If there was a Cruiserweight quarry would have been Champ. Plus, he came along in a very tough era. Only Ali and Fraizer stop him from being champ.

The K's the only fighters willing to give a guy who never beat a top 10 opponent a chance. Wow, your case for Klitschko greatness gets weaker by the minute. And it still doesn't change the fact Lewis was the recognized and lineal champion.

I'll throw out Joe Lipsey.

When I was a kid he was destined for greatness according to the boxing magazines and I was so excited to follow his development and pursuit of a title.

Then he ran into Bernard Hopkins, got stopped, and never fought again.

I remember Lipsey well, Hopkins destroyed him with a vicious, clinical combination. You don't get back from a KO like that one.
