From a crack family to the best fighter of his generation. That's quite a climb for Floyd. He was something special.

    - -Floydy refused Manny's drug testing protocol. The March 2010 date and the purse @50/50 were the easy negotiations as well as Floydy's home venue of MGM..

The Floydy nonstandard drug testing demand was a last minute ruse to kill a fight he never intended to carry out. He lost his flimsy deposit MGM and never made the date. Manny made the date but had to move to the Grand opening of the new Cowboy stadium where he added to his grandeur with 40,000 packing the stadium got to witness him in person.

But U was obviously too young watch boxing back then to know these things, or U was just obliviously not into boxing then...

Floyd refused to give Pacquiao any cutoff dates, yeah.

That's the whole point of random drug testing. You aren't supposed to know when a tester might or might not show up.

But Pac was afraid of needles according to Bob Arum. So maybe we should cut the little guy some slack. Even though he was covered in tattoos.

        - -Floydy wanted his cutoff date, and Manny wanted his. Keep in mind that Manny started from zero in making nonstandard drug testing demands. Floydy the instigator who ultimately paid civil damages with a public apology after his infantile drug accusations.

Facts are after Manny KOed Oscar as the emergency replacement for Floydy when he had his public mental breakdown, it was the public who clamored for the Manny fight that Floydy being mentally fragile was ill equipped to accept, sorta like Fury ducking the Wlad rematch as he went into a drug and pie induced mental breakdown.

So U never tell us what grade U in back then. Why that be?

Saying PAC Man lost to Ugas is like arguing Leonard lost to Camacho. You really believe it belongs as a proper measurement of the man's legacy?

"covered" in tattoos. lol. hes barely got any. And a tattoo needle isnt a syringe, its a spike that scratches the surface of your skin.

that being said, I think it was more so that who is Floyd to demand that out of the blue, hes not the commission. I don't know why people cant understand that. its like forcing your opponent to only eat rice during camp and saying if you don't accept those terms its your fault. as much as I respect Floyds skills a part of him has always been a little *****, smart maybe but a *****. that's something a blue haired cuck in LA or Toronto would do.

I wouldn't say Thurman was prime, he was coming off a long layoff which was also a huge factor

I'm really close to agreeing with you. Duran on his best night has a good chance at being the p4p best ever depending on how we evaluate careers

                      - -Fought a tuneup fight giving him 12 rounds against Josesito Lopez before the 40 yr old Manny inbetween Senate duties. Keef was 30 yrs old.

Maybe need to find a more understandable sport to talk about.
