Leonard over hearns is close, but hagler not so much

. Hagler was at the end of his career, literally his last fight and he was coming off more than a year layoff. Yeah, i know leonard was coming off a longer layoff, ergo i wouldnt have given hagler much credit either, but taking the opponent into account is what gives the most context for the win.

Leonard beating an old, rusty, hagler is not near as good of a win as duran beating a prime srl. Even if srl later avenged the defeat, the duran win was greater.

The IBRO is in fact an excellent group of boxing historians who apply their collective knowledge to determine their ratings. But rating fighters is subjective and only based on facts. What I find humorous is Queenie using the IBRO to make a point but will completely dismiss the same organization when it's pointed out anything that goes against his own agenda (cough, cough, Larry Holmes being rank the 4th all time greatest heavyweight). Just another pot calling the kettle black scenario.
