I addressed the use of Goodman in his schoolboy article that an 8th grader could have improved on, not him directly. U live in a drug contaminated world run by legal Big Pharma and illegal drug cartels where not even the general populace or wildlife can escape their ravages. Know how many gals get slipped date **** drugs and how many guys slipped Mickeys over the past two centuries? How many tens of thousands of drugs there are no drug tests for?

Big George says Sadler dehydrated him before the Rumble and then gave him some foul water George says was drugged, and point in fact that was the first fight I ever jumped up to yell out drugged. George Plimpton had much the same reaction claiming the fix was in.

Bookies don't mess around. When a sniff of a fix comes in, all bets are off as happened the week before the Brewster fight. What grade was U in then? That's a lotta years of U being unable to fix U toopid...
It's funny, whenever I read your posts it's like a different language. Riddled with old fashioned slangs, likely from even before your time - spelling errors and confusing points that always seem irrelevant. Yet you do have a degree of education, you can tell.

I agree with you a little bit this time though. There's a lot of dirty work in boxing, or all sports for that matter. I'm positive a lot of fighters were sniffing before their fights and even during in some form or another. Some of these fighters had serious drug problems, the last thing they are gonna do is deny themselves the drug the night of the fight.

When Pryor went at Arguello the way he did, endless stamina, endless energy and confidence. It looks to me like a sign of stimulant abuse. I think the whole crushed up asphma pills was just another half truth.

      - -Foreman came to grips with his loss by learning how to answer the ****** questions of the media without giving excuses, but he never spoke to or of Sadler again near as can be seen in the media releases save his autobio. Wlad was doubtless called by George and took his queues.

Running out of gas a modern slang aphorism doesn't exclude Wlad was slipped the mickey. Everyone in sports or the general public becomes fatigued at some point, but they don't suddenly collapse. Wlad had fought many more rounds at a higher pace than this easy one that featured plenty of rests as he would grab Brewster for a casual walk back to slam his back into the ropes that is the Manny style.

Folks don't suddenly become fatigued with double normal blood sugar levels, and when tested the results are mysteriously lost such that they have to find private practitioner well after the fact to get some answers. I get that dumbos like U worship what a Vegas doc, who are as notorious as their refs and judges would do or say, and how U think the HOF some holy shrine. We hashed the fight out in dying days of AOL and the overwhelming consensus was Wlad was drugged. A key point at the end of the 4th Wlad KDs Brewster again that typically Byrd ignores while Brewster manages to lurch forward as he fell to take Wlad's feet out from under him. One nano second before and Wlad knocks him down with Roy screaming to stop the fight, and the next nano second Wlad has to be pulled to his feet. This is the same Wlad who rose from the first headbutt-left hand KD by Sanders to the 5th and final KD by Sanders before the ref waived off that fight, and now suddenly without a single punch taken he can't get up?

That's fine. U a just another dumbo thug, and dumbo thugs is big business in America these days as Floydy Junior continues to show us today. Cain't read or spell cat, but he's got 10 digits to count his zero digits by and boxing in his pockets. U just a part of modern drug addled America still struggling with the instantaneous depression their political leaders put the country in with public schools infested with fatal fentanyl laced marijuana and so on, so enjoy U dirty boxing and dirty world U exalt in.

        - -I would point out that Alexis went at Aaron the same way. Lots of all action ebb and flow and style changes as they ran through every gear they had.

So you still have no proof Wlad was poisoned, right? This is all just your opinion, assumptions and guesswork, right? Just like saying the bookies stopped taking bets the week before.....right?

It's ok. You can just say it. Nothing you say is backed up by any scientific proof or facts.

So you're saying Pryor also had coke in his system or in that bottle as well? I wouldn't be surprised at all. There must have been a serious lack of testing in boxing in the 80s with all the ******* use back then and with how many fighters got away with it.

In the article I posted George Kimball talks about how the late money came in on Brewster because of the odds and payout. Now I've cited my two sources. I'd like to know what Queen fruitcakes sources are. I'll bet he won't show any. 11 to 1 odds.
Queenie's sources are lost in the back of his closet somewhere, along with that tape of the Sugar Ray Robinson-Willie Pep fight.

They once busted Camacho for weed so they were looking for some things. I would suspect coke would have been tested for. I started teaching in '85 and they tested us for an across the board list of illegal drugs.

But Pryor's drug problem becomes a public issue much later then the infamous bottle fight. I would argue he should get the benefit of doubt as to whether he was a 'butter head' that early on.

                • - -I would point out that

                  1. the start of the KO round was slow as both exhausted by the intensity of the last round. 2. The stomach is a poor conduit for instantaneous drug results. Inhalants go directly into the blood stream. 3. Both fighters in spar mode waiting for the moment to strike. 4. Aaron struck first for a brutal follow up, a fair result by the rules. 5. Water mixes including Gatorade were entirely legal and may be still. 6. Obviously that excludes illegal drugs that is presumptuous lacking credible evidence for this fight since the black bottle was never found and didn't show up on the video and may not have even been black but rather black lettering. 7. Alexis had no problem with the result other than personal disappointment.

I was and still am a fan of both, but could not bear to watch the rematch. The first remains the Holy Grail of all Great Fights in that era...
