here is the funny thing. I was going to wait for Dr Z to respond with "Haye was the best puncher Vlad fought not Sanders!" I would implore anyone to check haye's record and Sanders record, especially at heavyweight to determine who was the more accomplished puncher.

Both were mediocre at best. But Sanders certainly had the better power. The guy was fast and could punch. Hate never carried his power up in weight.

Yeah it's really easy to break down the K bros record, there isn't much greatness in it and there isn't much to debate about it either. Whenever the competition got even B+ they start losing. Vitali in my book was a pretty good heavyweight, but not a great one. And it's mostly because he had a good chin, heart and was 6 ft 7. He still got taxed by the worst version of Lewis ever, and that was the best version of Vitali. Vitali is superior to Wlad, Wlad just fought even weaker competition.

I personally don't think either of them did anything Impressive at heavyweight outside of Sanders stopping Wlad, and that was a one trick pony. But if I had to pick between the two h2h I would go with Sanders.

It's to bad we never got to see a full-time and fully dedicated Sanders. He was obviously talented. But you can't split your time between the ring and the golf course and be a great fighter.
