Still no word on how Marvin passed, but his widow Kay Hagler has stated it was NOT a side effect from a covid vaccination. That rumor was apparently unfounded and started by Tommy Hearns. Let's wait for them to release a cause of death before speculating.

Kay does not sound like an Italian name. I thought Marv married a dago gal. Had he since divorced her and moved back stateside? What's the deal?

Duran said "You no Marvelous" after their fight. I wonder what he thinks now. Would be interesting if Duran were asked for comment right about now.

Thank you, Jab. It was annoying me. There is so much to enjoy talking about his career we do not need to push a rumor that his family will have to answer over and over again. As a public figure I am sure the truth will come out. Right now, all I care about is a central figure in boxing history and a fighter who helped make me a boxing fan is gone.

Legends do not die, they shrug off mortality for a new life. Though he had to go we will keep a piece of his soul. Marvelous will always have a home in the temples of Apollo's rite no matter the form they take. I know of Theaganese, the me of 2k years from now will know Marvelous Marvin Hagler. Our memories become histories and our histories are shared.

Forever great, forever Marvelous, forever remembered.

By buggery, Battilda, I find it mighty strange when a man has to post his parentheses in another thread?
